卖家在disclosure里面写了他2010年买房的时候检查出Fireplace hearth settling，
那时买家在basement装了一个金属柱子顶上了
这个问题大么？

Most modern gas only fireplaces with fixed glass do not require a hearth
extension. The manufacturers usually require a 36" clear space in front (no
furniture, etc.). Now if this was a wood burning fireplace that had a gas
insert, the hearth extension would still be required. Once wood burning,
always wood burning.

COASTROAD Hearth & Patio Mother bear is correct. Gas fireplaces do not
require hearth extensions by code, but may require one IF the installation

我略看了一下，好像under cut砖然后把木地板塞进去会比较自然
quarter round或其他transition估计都很难弄得好看，主要是砖面不平整很光滑的

务管理方面比较先进，特别像社会保障制度体系方面比国内出色。因此，陈励君主张：
“引进国外的管理人员(到公务员系统)，更有利于引进国外的管理能力、管理方式，包
括一些更科学的机制。比如，城市规划方面等。”

交错摆，下面垫点报纸。要把报纸揉皱了，别放一沓子。然后扔几块starter。damper
半开比较好：不至于热量都从烟囱跑了，或者燃烧不完全。如果门底下有vent要打开，
这样空气可以进去，不至于产生太多CO。有火的时候最好旁边有人，别让它着着就去睡
觉了。前面如果是地毯的话铺个防火的垫子,好像叫hearth mat，防止火星溅出来烧坏
地毯。烧完了的木头多过些天才能清理，否则容易死灰复燃。我听说有人过了3，4天清
理，掏出来的灰还是把垃圾桶点着了。这个比较夸张，不过小心些好。 |

，我们开始研究那个房子附近的房子的卖价，心里觉得我们的价格出高了，因为毕竟房
顶是不好的，一两年要换，然后室内需要remodel才可以住，估计怎么也得2万。24小时
后，那边没有回音，我们就问agent，怎么样了，他说他问问，这时候感觉那边还是有
一点点暗示价格他们可能不满意吧，我就和agent说，既然已经下了offer，如果23万5
可以谈就继续谈，如果再多，我们不想追加钱了。这之后很快（一两个小时内吧）
agent就回话了，说他很惊喜，我们的offer已经被接受了，而且seller agent问他我们
是不是注意到屋顶是比较旧的，他说我们已经注意到了，也考虑了屋顶的因素出的价。
。。当时我就很无语，房子没有做inspection呢，他这样代表我们，就是和我们说我们
不能再为了屋顶的事和卖家讨价了。我们在出价以后其实发现，那些屋顶好的，室内装
修基本可以入住的房子最后的成交价也就是我们出的这个水平。。。

砖面不平整啊，上quarter round，木条背面跟砖面的缝隙很不均匀，有些地方贴紧了
，有些地方有2-3毫米的缝隙。看来不太好处理了。
打算给砖加一层贴面，这样可以不用quarter round，不过得切tile，再用水泥粘。

，绿豆，荞麦仁，黑豆等等做的粥，以前我们也用大米和糯米，现在我没有用，我主要
是喝的上清，其实还是很香很有营养的。我吃得面包是costco买的country hearth,
100% whole wheat的面包（27g carb）.饺子皮也是costco买的all purpose 的面粉做
的。我今天下午四点snack时间还吃了7个饺子，两个猕猴桃，一小时后试着测了一下，
是90. 晚饭后吃的糙米和炒洋葱，以及海鲜汤，饭后一小时还是89. 其实我本来吃得主
食就很少，现在只是把百米换成糙米了。所以你要是饿，多吃点鸡蛋，多做些蔬菜汤和
肉汤，还是很容易饱的。我听说如果饿的过头了，血糖反而容易反弹升高，不知道对不
对。 |
