我们是水泥SLAB，管道没法换，前房主换铜管的时候把所有水管都走屋顶了，包一层
FOAM够呛。
我回家先检查一下HEATER吧，查了一下不少HEATER的温度可调，调高点看看。 |

The new ones you can get is about $100-$200, the ones that's under the sink
is more expensive but much
easier to install.
I installed one on top of the water heater, it takes a while to turn off the
water, release the pressure of the
heater etc.
Under sink ones will be better.
Once installed, it works on every faucets in the house.

有， 晚上睡觉前插在一个定时器上，如果早上9点要用车的话，定时器设定在5点或者6
点开。如果是不确定什么时候用车的话，一直通电就可以。不建议插太长时间，不过一
直通电12个小时没有任何问题，这个是我的记录，我想插一天也不会有任何问题，太长
时间就不建议了。 用了几年了， 零下35度启动一点问题没有。大前提是车电池也不要
太久，5年以上建议换新电池的。 |

那就是散热大。旧的water heater外面摸着是热的，比较新的外面摸着是凉的。水垢英
文好像叫water scale. |

working back then. Seller bought the one year home warranty. It broke last
month. Called warranty company. They send a plumber to take a look, and give
me two options. They can get someone to fixed (quote for $400 for extra
service), or I get someone fix it myself. They will refund up to $692. I get
it replaced for $690.
Usually it costs around $600, up to $1000. Depends on brand of tank or extra
work invloved in install |
