story on CCTV4 about so called "Zhuang Yuan"
from Hebei province. It is reported that
this guy's dream was to go to XXU (you know),
and the first year his score was not enough
to go to XXU, USTC offered to recruit him, he
declined.
The second year, he was offered to go to
"Nuclear Eng Dept" in XXU, he declined again.
So finally in the third year, he became so
called "Zhuang Yuan" and could go to his
ideal dept(CS?) in XXU.

in two weeks still has no offer. I don't know how to pay my next month's

只是当时没意识到是british english。记得当年每节英语课的作业之一，就是回家录音自己朗读课文，第二天交盘磁带给老
师。一个班５、６０人，老师一个一个的听，再打分。现在想像，真是辛苦呀。
不知道现在换成什么教材了。
