If I were u, I would start optimise everything towards the heli trip
preparation since now. I would get a real powder ski and practice it
whenever it is powder condition. The big sky trip could be a good kickoff.
Unprepared heli trip could be less enjoyable. |

Be prepared to pay more for added vertical feet. Their website quotes 3 day
for 40K feet for a much higher price. I wonder how many heli rides can 20000
feet provide. Squaw's vertical drop is about 5000ft. You will have about 4-
5 runs. |

skiing if you do systematic approach these two months.

talked about skis for alaska heli-skiing. The big mountain skis that page
refers might do the trick for heli too, but less chance for repeated
organisms. Note I am only talking of the skiing part of the trip. Anything
with waist <100mm may make the skiing just normal, with sligh |
