大学 C做AP，我婉拒了。然后没了SUPPORT，RESIGN窝在家里准备回国做BUSINESS（之
前已经有点基础了）
但是。。但是。。我QUIT之前申请的一个DOD下来了，金额不少，赶上R01了。。。我现
在又想先做完这个项目再说。。毕竟以后回去也好多吹一些。。和原单位联系，然后他
们安排的居然是。。换PI，然后等FUNDING下来以后再重新HIRE我。。他们不想出钱，
但是又想拿到这个GRANT。他们不知道老板推荐我去做AP的事情，也不知道我回国的打
算，可能以为我迫切的需要一个JOB。
现在B 和C 我都有可能去。B不错，但是我要想去的话，肯定是要能把钱带过去才可以
。C有点烂，我不是很想去。我现在和DOD联系，找不到assigned officer, HELPDESK说
必须先在网上填了有关信息（包括接受不接受，有没有换单位，新单位的联系方式，要
不要transfer grant, 和联系信息）以后，人才会联系我。问题是现在僵在这里，我根

日前，美国劳工部发布了关于流行工资(Prevailing Wage)的新政策，较以前申请流行
工资的途径和内容，有了很多新的变化。新政策会直接影响绿卡PERM劳工纸、H-1B、H-
2B、H-1B1、H-1C、E-3等各类申请。
最大的变化是取消了各州当地的SWA做出流行工资决定的做法，在首府华盛顿设立了国
家流行工资帮助中心（National Prevailing Wage and Helpdesk Center，简称NPWHC
），统一接受包括劳工纸、H-1B、H-2B、H-1B1、H-1C、E-3等等类别的流行工资申请，
以及做出决定。
自2010年1月1日起，国家流行工资帮助中心就开始接受申请。各州的SWA只处理在2009
年12月31日前接受到的流行工资申请。在2010年1月1日至1月15日提交到各州SWA的流行
工资申请，将会被直接转送到国家流行工资帮助中心。在2010年1月15日之后送到各州
SWA的流行工资申请，则会被直接退回，并告知应直接向国家流行工资帮助中心申请。

1 如果被fire而h1尚未批准,雇主需要立刻撤销申请,所以opt仍然有效
2 如果h1批准但未生效,雇主需要撤销H1,而且你需要填i-539要求转回F1,但是OPT时间不太够,等结果时候OPT已经过期了

的护照有效期只有十个月，说新规定要一年以上有效期，不允许我妈去签证。我去
了大使馆官方网站，看上说的是6个月，我立刻打电话到使馆customer service helpdesk

先后和俩位工作人员讯问，都说不应该被赶出来。我坚持让我妈再进去，告诉她们
护照是有效的，可怜老妈，文化不高，被吓的根本不知道该怎么办，不敢再去，坚
持回去延期护照后再来。全家吵成一团，我妈差点晕倒。我们申请的是俩个月

Christmas 期间来美，所以离开美国时护照都还有6个月有效期。而且说到底，他们

Our company did that several months ago and IT helpdesk moved to India
But in that case, there shouldn't have been only one co-worker let go. The
whole team is supposed to be dismissed. |
