hemophilia a or b, for hemophilia a there was a gene therapy trial conducted
by beth isreal/harvard, and for b there was a trial conducted by stanford,

has differnt severity - mild, moderate and severe, based on the percentage
of factor IX or X left in the body. If it is severe hemophilia, it is
generally recommend to do infuse factor prophylactically a(once or twice a
week) to prevent further bleeding into the joint. However, it is very
expensive, not sure if it can be reimbursed by insurance in China. |

上大学新生入学体检的时候第一次检查出来，众目睽睽下几个肝感觉阳性的同学给点名

忍不住说说我知道的吧。
他们家是完全的基因突变，我表姐和表姐夫后来都去查了，一切正常。
一句话来说，这个病目前是治不好的，无论是国内还是美国基本只有注射第八因子一条

三四年前我表姐也让我打听过美国这边的治疗情况，为此我还跟我们医院（全美top）
血友病科室的人（类似coordinator)聊过，这边基本上是采用preventive therapy，每
周定期注射1-2次，其实也不叫注射，因为是胸口接了个小管子，当时跟她聊完走出来
的时候正好遇到个患病的小孩，她就让我看了。preventive therapy的好处是病人几乎
可以跟正常人一样活动，一般的运动也没事，但问题就是代价很高，没有保险的话一个
月就是好几千刀，而且是终身的（还没考虑到其他可能的并发症情况）。所以来美国治
疗的可能性就直接否定掉了，除非父母能移民来美国或者是来美国工作。

其次vit C deficiency? 毛细血管脆性增加
其他出凝血问题？
hemophilia very less likely (一般是关节内出血，女性少见，家族史）
观察，如果过两天退了，应该问题不大。

Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，

MCQ没有资格说，CCS有一点小感受，拿出来分享下。大家请轻拍砖。
复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

章很麻烦，耽误了2个多月，材料才得以从学校寄出。个人觉得申请算是比较顺利。把
我当时准备的情况跟大家说一下也许对将要申请的人有一点帮助。
我个人从这里寄出去的材料包括：
1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话

2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
