选车：
新车掉价很快，所以也不是很合算。有句话说It loses 25% of value when the front wheels
touch the road.
买车的时候和dealer打交道很多trick. 不管我们做的再多的功课也是业余傻瓜对专业
骗子，结果可想而知。不了解的参见最近威力鲈鱼的帖子。
所以我比较推荐从私人手里买二手新车。你和卖家基本上都是业余对业余，得到fair
deal的机会大大大于到dealer那里买车。 对于菜鸟级来说，我推荐买二手新车：一般
30mi以内，4年之内， 这样的车都还在原厂保修中（自己google确认），买了之后即使

这个是自己吭哧吭哧翻译了很久的。。 有翻译的不妥之处请自行修正吧，呵呵
mitbbs上面永远不缺讽刺挖苦说风凉话的，一概无视不跟小人一般见识
补充一些其他同学的建议：
1，不同时期不同地方的结婚证可能内容不一样，比如前面有人的结婚证就有父母的名
字（和身份证？）
2，这个自己中英文对照翻译好之后找一个朋友签字就可以给uscis用了，具体看uscis
官网对于签字的那个附件attachment的要求
我把自己当时弄的也作为一个样板贴在下面了，大同小异

3，弄一个国内的公证，跟出生公证一样的，肯定好使，不过国内的机关你懂的，庙小

和

是bodily injury, 这两部是独立，互不干涉，所以如果release form是关于人身伤害
，那么签不签都不应该影响我修车，如果是关于车的损伤，那么应该修好以后再签。
和对方保险公司assign的一个adjuster 争论后， adjuster坚持要我先签release form
，说如果有额外的差价，那么保险公司会直接付给修车铺，我修车时，租车的问题也是
由保险公司直接安排。
release form里有这么一句 ”by reason of any and all known and unknown,
foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, loss and damage to
property, and the consequences thereof, resulting, and to result from a

为了让大家少走弯路，我把自己的经历贡献出来，如果有点用处也不枉费我码下面这些
字。
背景：父母b1/b2签证，在美呆了6个月，准备申请税号和我一起报税。把材料交给会计
师被告知今年有新规定，必须用护照原件或者去领事馆做护照公证才可以给父母办税号
。最后我的会计师建议我还是去跑一趟领事馆做护照公证比较好，因为他已经办理成功
过类似的情况。
因为在外州要开车去纽约领事馆，所以不想带着父母一起折腾，就打算自己跑一趟，事
先做了一些网上的功课，也试图给领事馆打电话，但是从来找不到活人接电话，于是只
好硬闯了，结果第一次失败，被拒回来，原因是：
1. 父母本人没去
2. 如果本人没去，需要有公证过的委托书，这样子女才可以代办，于是我被缺少委托
书打发回来了，即使我带去了亲属公证，证明我和父母的关系也不管用。
经验：如果父母身体好腿脚方便的，能带着本人亲自去还是亲自去吧，能省去很多的麻
烦。
第二次写了一份委托书，带着爹妈去Local银行签字Notary，然后再次请假一天杀向领
