True herniated disc is actually very rare. It is largely an anatomical
problem, in other words, oral medicine only offers symptom relief. Luckily,
true herniated disc is mostly self-limited disease, despite significant
pain when it happens.
It should be noted that in most elderly, degenerative disease of the spine
is way more common, and it is often confused with 椎间盘突出 in China. |

找到了一种可以缓解疼痛的睡姿就是把腿抬起来。我也担心这种睡姿会对健康不利。
德州版貌似潜水的人很多，不知道谁有这方面的治疗经验，不管中医西医还是保健偏分

发帖数: 29576 | 27 从习平时下蹲和就坐的姿势来看，腰不太好比较僵硬，可能是年轻下乡干农活搞坏了，
很多人长期坐姿不对上了年纪也会这样。
腰间盘突出，可能平时没什么疼痛，但如果用力过猛号称扭了腰，可能突然导致间盘压
迫神经，spinal disc herniation，疼痛难忍，严重会暂时下身不遂。
有的人养养吃点steroid会好点，但根治得动手术，太子这个估计是动手术，用螺丝固
定了腰椎，一般人术后恢复很痛苦，10天左右躺在床上是必需的。
看来太子是游泳引起腰间盘发作，9月初动了手术，本来预计到9/10能见丹麦洋牛，结
果看术后恢复又没把握见不了。
也就下礼拜吧，太子应该能出来见客了。

些病症不会描述，有些在国内吃的比较有效的药，不知道英文的药名是什么，还有
就是这里医生说的病名不能立刻反应出来是什么。在整理以前贴子的时候，发现有

Mg is essential for the metabolism of calcium, some cases of refractory Ca
deficiency, the doc should check Mg.
on the other hand, the pain caused by Mg or Ca deficiency is not that sharp
and severe, should be dull.
The possible reasons for constant, sharp, severe pain in the leg include
vascular (atheroslcerosis), nerve (herniation) or psychia/psychological. |

发帖数: 790 | 35 我的情况是这样的，长期（>10年）以来,有腰酸背疼的问提，以前是无论走，坐，还是
站都不能连续2小时以上，否则就会觉得腰酸难受，尤其早晨醒来的时候觉得腰酸痛，
一年以前，病情加重，腰痛加剧。于是断断续续去看大夫，大概看了半年的中医，时好
时坏，最后发现腰下方有个地方很痛，采用刺血拔罐的方法，觉得腰部没有那么痛了，
但是早晨醒来感觉背部靠脊椎的两边的肌肉还是发紧难受。后来搬到另一个州，不再继
续看医生，自己在家里用按摩器按摩，针灸仪针灸，总是不见好转。尤其自从我再那一
辆、两个尖痛的部位使劲按摩以后，陆续有腰部下方其他地方的疼痛，位置也不断在变
，后来甚至蔓延到腿部疼痛，不能坐太久，否则两条腿的两外侧和上方会火辣辣的疼。
后来又用拔火罐的办法，坚持了一个月，感觉好多了，只是睡久了还是会觉得背部肌肉
发紧不舒服。最近去看西医，拍了核磁共振，医生告知 Physical therapy herniated
discs lumbar spine. 差了英汉字典，还是不能确定这到底是腰椎盘突出还是腰椎盘
破裂，不知道这到底严不严重，请哪位转嫁回答一下，先谢了！！ |

if you don't want her to take pain meds, you can leave her in bed suffering
from pain, some children do that to their elderly parents,
if you are afraid of taking medicine, can try ice pack or something like
that, there are also over the counter topical analgesics you can try, works
about half the time,

Fracture is unlikely if you are not involved in accident.
Herniated disc is possible, but less common, and the treatment will be the
same any way.
The most important thing is to look for neurological deficits, ie weakness
not in your back, but in legs and feet, as well as urinary, fecal
incontinence. The lack of those shall be very reassuring about the extent
of injury.
If you have insurance, you can go to see your PCP to make sure. But if you
