在国内的时候，我就不喜欢Hershey's的，觉得远不如lindt/金帝/吉百利/德芙/费列罗
好吃。

发帖数: 18 | 7 大虾好，小弟准备读Biomedical Science的PhD, 现在收到了Penn State(Hershey)和
UNC-Chapel Hill的Offer，两个项目各有各的优势和劣势，不知道选哪个才好，想听听
前辈的建议。
Penn State(Hershey)的优势是，项目有130个教授可以选择，而且如果前两年课程都是
A，可以去Penn State(Harrisburg)修一个MBA；但是学校地处偏僻，排名一般。UNC的
优势是，项目有14个方向300多个实验室可以选，学校声誉不错，地处北卡三角区；但
是将来可能只专心于学术。
因为自认为没有作Faculty的潜质，所以希望将来能够去公司，如果能够作consulting
或是VC，那就更好了。这样就倾向于去Penn State，但是一方面担心自己有没有这个能
力去读MBA，另一方面，不知道学校排名会不会影响将来找工作，毕竟不是名校，去大
的咨询公司应该是没戏吧。
不知道大家觉得我该选哪个项目能？谢谢啦！！！ |

我今年4月回国的，花了差不多$200买的东西，价值大概在$2000左右，全是在cvs，
walgreen，rite aid，target捡的deal，有鱼油，银杏片，维生素，骨胶原，蒜油，小
儿保健品，target75%off的玩具，鞋子，衣服，revlon，美宝莲，oreal的化妆品，还
有暖宝宝，膏药，血糖仪等等。
现在有计划请公婆明年到美来玩，现在又在开始屯礼品了。昨天花掉$0.89在cvs买了2
瓶natural bounty的鱼油，又拿回来$3。所以，只要先做准备，送礼物基本可以做到不
花钱或少花钱。
2.剃须刀
我父母上次回去的时候去walmart买了五六十个吉列的刮胡刀，七八块一个吧，回去后
不管远近亲疏，他们单子里有的人手一个，效果还不错，没人咬自己收到的礼物没别人
收到的好
3.食品类
我们的亲戚反映最强烈的是
1) HERSHEYS SYRUP 巧克力酱, costco 5.79$, 两瓶装(1.36kg*2)，这个在国内没常见

we went on the first day of the season. The $23.95 adult ticket for Hershey
Park (April only) is very good value.
The Trolley ride were very informative and fun, and kids love the free
chocholate. We also went to Hershey Garden, a bit early for the season. |

1 明天真的很冷!!!大家多穿衣服啊!!Bring an umbrella in case of raining.
2 我打算午饭在hershey吃,晚饭在longwoood garden里的terrrace restaurant吃.这个
饭店有点像美国自助,你进去自己取要吃的,在门口结账.主食+汤+甜点差不多$15-$20.味道还不错.
3 也可以自己带吃的,而且因为车停在公园里面(好像),应该是有机会回车里拿吃的或者别的东西.
4 可以带把椅子,可以用来在滑冰表演之前占座用.很推荐!!!
不能保证一定能看到表演.And

发帖数: 1292 | 24 离开hershey的时候已是两点半，开到longwood garden需要大约一个半小时，天空依然白云飘飘，却没有下雨的迹象，于是medical给longwood garden打电话定了晚上6点半的滑冰表演的票，并告诉他们我们可能要晚一个小时到，对方说没问题，这时medical悬着的心终于放下了。天白同学仍然悠然自得不知疲倦的开着车，一边跟medical和其他朋友天南海北的聊着天，饿的时候继续吃巧克力，这下，估计把明年的巧克力也吃完了。
4点左右到longwood garden，发现停车场都要被停满了，对了，早先在hershey就看到好多车上结着厚厚的冰，而且我们车经过的城市也是处处积雪，看来就DC附近没下过雪了。来到visitor center，跟lemonfish和bwi集合，拿到门票和滑冰表演的票，medical一行8人直接奔到terrace restaurant吃饭，lemonfish等人已经吃过饭了，就先去转温室花房。medical以前在这里吃过饭，所以轻车熟路的买吃的，不同的是，上次主菜是烤鸡，这次是三文鱼，尽管吃了一天的巧克力，medical还是加了大大一份chocola |

企业一一转嫁到消费者身上，也推升了通膨增温的疑虑。
可口可乐公司和航空零件制造商Arconic已在第3季调涨产品价格，而大型航空公司、制
造商以及食品制造商近几周也纷纷宣布跟进。
例如Oreo饼干制造商亿滋国际（Mondelez）和巧克力制造商贺喜公司（Hershey's）已
确定美国市场明年起涨价。亿滋执行长戴普特表示，美国消费者和零售商现在已经比较
能接受商品涨价，“消费者环境很强劲”。
其实涨价大多也是逼不得已的事，毕竟产品一变贵就会吓跑一些顾客，但每家公司涨价

经历多年的低通膨后，美国企业近来开始涨价，大至机票小至油漆，所有增加的成
本，企业一一转嫁到消费者身上，也推升了通膨增温的疑虑。
可口可乐公司和航空零件制造商Arconic已在第3季调涨产品价格，而大型航空公司
、制造商以及食品制造商近几周也纷纷宣布跟进。
例如Oreo饼干制造商亿滋国际（Mondelez）和巧克力制造商贺喜公司（Hershey's
）已确定美国市场明年起涨价。亿滋执行长戴普特表示，美国消费者和零售商现在已经
比较能接受商品涨价，“消费者环境很强劲”。
其实涨价大多也是逼不得已的事，毕竟产品一变贵就会吓跑一些顾客，但每家公司
涨价的原因各不同，例如亿滋表示，调涨旗下部分饼干产品价格是为因应上涨的原料和
运输成本。
航空业者目前的燃料成本也比一年前暴增逾40%，9月货运成本比去年同期增加7%。
美国制造业的钢、铝成本也分别比去年增加38%和8%，主要是拜美国总统川普对这
些金属原料开征关税所赐。川普9月再对价值2,000亿美元的中国商品开征10%关税，也
对采购这些进口商品的企业造成压力。

我爱吃烤白薯, 好的烤白薯,是无以伦比的美味. 这里卖的所谓日本白薯,红皮白瓤,很
象我家乡的白薯,烤上一两个钟头,香喷喷地,剥开焦皮,里面晶莹剔透,肉都焦糖化了,咬
一口,甜软香死了.
老公家的地方, 说起好吃的白薯,就说 '和栗子一个味!' 我听了很愤愤不平 - 栗子干
巴巴的, 哪里比得上白薯. 前两天又烤了白薯,老公吃得高兴,不禁夸道:'简直象红烧肉
一样!'气死我了 - 这十足是对烤白薯的侮辱呀! 孩子吃了也说好:'象是巧克力!' 我就
想, 他是指那破HERSHEY BAR 呢, 还是高级的黑巧克力慕丝? 如果是前者, 那还是对烤
白薯的侮辱呀.
又:烤美国的YAM,我得弄熟,捣碎,加糖,奶油和肉桂烤,上面还撒油糖面末,才好吃.不象
日本白薯,简单烤烤,就好吃得不行. |

红脖子，获奖人数193，人口2亿，平均每百万0.965人。
老黑和老墨的物理化学医学得主呢？他们的人口都各有2000~3000万，是华人犹太人的
好几倍。
另外，华人是1943年废除排华法案以后才来到美国的，比犹太人晚了半个多世纪，因为
肤色跟白人差距较大，奋斗业更难。
