我老板人很mean，招postdoc目的就是要postdoc继续做自己的thesis然后他挂名一作甚
至通讯作者，再之后就是把该postdoc的thesis名正言顺的归为己有。至于他自己的方
向，他是百分一万不愿意和postdoc共享的。历史上他干过无数次这样的事，跟几乎所
有的postdoc都干过仗。
我lab里一个阿三的策略是只出工不出力，天天按时来按时走，就是不干活。不知被老
板骂了几百次。我跟他关系不错，他跟我说这么做也是无奈，因为害怕自己辛苦五年的
hesis被别人夺走。可是这么做对他自己很不利。
我的策略是尽量多写paper，可是每个paper快结束的时候就hold住，告诉老板出了问题
，要换topic。反正丫对我的领域不熟，糊弄他还不容易？这样下来一年写了3篇paper
，可四都没投。老板每天都来催，我就是hold住。同时找工作。最后找到了另一所学校
，可以独立做科研的职位，自然一作和通讯作者都是我的，老板也只能望洋兴叹。
变态pi多了去，耍他们玩也是一种享受。

做之前，先检测每个variable是否有unit root
在这个过程中发现一个问题
以其中一个variable房价为例
我如果用Dickey-Fuller test，
发现housing price data 有unit root，但是difference没有，与预期相符和通常情况
相符合
我接着用augmented Dickey-Fuller test，也就是加上几个lags
结果与前边相反，housing price data本身在5% marginally reject unit root hypot
hesis，但是take difference以后，这个difference反而有unit root，与预期情况完全
相反。
这是什么原因？用哪一个检测比较合理？ |

这样就刷掉差生，这样就可以提高通过率。
我们这里很多土学校都用这种办法，看着98/99通过率的都是这么干的 |

when I read the HESI book about diverticulitis.
Diverticulitis is the inflamation of diverticulosis. Usual symp involves abd
pain and GI bleeding. Complication is perforation. I had one pt who had the
dx of diverticulitis, and he's really c/o pain while I was his SN. I can
tell the pt was in moderate to severe pain, even tho all he did was to lie
in bed and demostrate suffering from pain. I think it's proper to give pai |

remeber 2 of the options given and the answer given from the book.
What's the proper nursing intervention when pt is in sickle cell crisis?
1. Maintain hydration
2. keep pt NPO
the answer gave as choice 2 in reason that pt has sickle cell crisis usually
go to surgery asap, so it's proper to prepare pt for the upcoming surgery.
I'm thinking Maintain hydration is the proper answer since it is mentioned
in the HESI that keep |

我当时考过一个HESI入门，分很多项，
分别是READING，MATH，BIO，CHEM，ANTOMY，PSY，MICROBIO等，
我只有MATH和CHEM过了
（当时我还没有修解剖II和心理和微生物，所以我没做那几部分）。
上学期开学前ORIENTATION时我们做了ATI考试，
本来担心的不得了，后来考的时候才发现其实是CRITICAL THINKING的问题，
回家跟老公一说题目，他说跟GRE的逻辑分析差不多，
我记的有一个题目是说A比B大，B比C大，D比M大什么什么的，最后问A和M谁大，
我把手指头都用上了，标上ABCD，其实不难，
不过出来之后几个同学都问到这个题，我跟他们说我用了手指头把他们晕的不行，
有一个家伙说他足足想了十分钟，总觉得很容易，但是一会儿就CONFUSE了，：）
……
我觉得吧，你还是甭担心了，有空温温你的解剖书就好了，以后用的着的就它了。

，我们这个学校哈，每个学期都要求学生买几门课的HESI(either case study or exam
)。近$50一门，还好啦，比起以前的什么$100的瞎编的medspub要好多了。。。
然后把，各种各样的活动都要另外交钱，seminar啦，convention啦。要求你买统一的
scrub啦，nicu还要不同的scrub啦，bp cuff用了一个学期也不用了，现在毕业，gown,
cord, sigma theta tau, 那是没得选了。。。
看看那些学accoutning的本科朋友，除了书啥都不用买，要求的学分都比我们少了一半
。。。
nursing 真花钱啊。不过我也不停的安慰自己，马上就好了，有了工作半年一年就挣出
来了， 两年就有买房的down pay了，哈哈，很阿Q吧？ |

发帖数: 1745 | 30 别提了,LD的cousin去年刚进去,结果一门课就fail了,好多人fail,简直都不成正态分布.
而且可奇怪,老师review test的时候,浸染不把考试卷发给大家.就听老师在上面一个人
讲解.还不给提问,太怪异了.
我记得我们以前和med school学生一起上课的时候,所有的考试,在review的时候,试卷
是要发下来给我们的,review好了,再收回去,每次考试,总有学生能找到一两道题的毛病
,结果这题就不算分了.
今年好了,老师全换了.
我LD说,不一定你是professor,有个什么PHD,你教课就好. 她们有很多老师,有很多头衔
,但是课教的一它糊涂.所以,学生意见很大,今年,总算把老师都给换了. |

你领导能考90，98已经很好了。我最高就考过一次91分，就是electrolyte那块儿。上
学期儿科妇科本来应该简单，实际结果是三次大考里有两次都是全班只有%15左右的人
过，过了的也是刚刚过。老师们还不承认出题有问题，说我们班就是差--TNND的BT吧？
唉，赶紧熬，熬完了好去学自己感兴趣的东西。

目的不能是想把学生给考倒.
说老实话,最后只要都能过NCLEX,就应该算是合格的了.
偶LD去年第一个学期,pathophysiology,好多次考试,结果最后两次考试她必须得考在95
以上,才不会fail,结果她 made it,顺利熬过了那学期.
结果第二个学期,好多课在一起,有的时候晚上要去临床上个夜班,第二天上午还要上课,
吓坏我了,这课表都是怎么排的啊. 结果她fail了药理,说老实话,我当时的感觉是松了
一口气,part time好,轻松,三年毕业就三年毕业吧,人不累,呵呵:-) |
