96的215k，
120－130k时1－2档开始顿挫，
160－170k时2－3档hesitation，后来又打滑，
最近几个月终于再也上不了3档了。
随便到任何铺子都是要rebuild，
dealer开的价反倒最便宜，说是换个solenoid vavle asembly就行，
不过要拆tranny。$1400.
最后一个铺子说不拆tranny也能换，不过也要$1000。
由于还有其他车可用，此车于是在家里放了很久。
在nissanparts.cc买了part＃31940-80X25，～$100
在autozone买了pan gasket，
然后又添置了一把1/8"torque wrench－－非常有用！
加上其他工具就慢慢干了。

最难的在于重新装上solenoid和那个spring基本上是用手摸进去的，
准确性就不提了。还有那个manual valve shift也不容易，

（比如我现在车的发热问题），应该去dealer那里修。
多年以前我有一辆Honda Civic（1984年车型），经常在traffic light停完后启动时，
会熄火，造成很多embarrassment。一开始我以为是自己开车技术不好（这辆车是手动
换档，5-speed)。后来发现这车熄火已经形成规律了：每天早上班的时候表现如此，不
但熄火，而且加速时有hesitation。
那时老认为Honda dealer一定很贵，我修不起，所以找很便宜的车行修。总是修不好；
每次他们都说：We can't reproduce the problem；或者干脆撒谎说：Your problem
is fixed. 这个熄火的问题，对我来说，就是一个疑难问题。
最后，我再也受不了在路上熄火的embarrassment，冒着头皮去了Honda dealer。 那人
一听我说是早上开车有这毛病，等车热了，毛病就没了，马上就明白了这是什么毛病，

computer（ECU）和配线接头生锈，导致接触不良，而使车发动不了。有两个选择，要
么换这两个配件（computer 和配线），加labor是3000多，要么是先清理一下，看看怎
么样。当然选择后者了。车清理后，发动正常，付了两个小时的labor(220).本以为可

1. There are not too many choices in my place if one does not want to get a
car from 100 miles away. GLK seems to be a good choice with this price. But
the local dealer has only several used SUVs, not GLK. I guess it might be
possible that they order one for me if I buy it for sure. The nearest Audi

，又试了一把GTI，还是很喜欢，比c30感觉好。电话ld请示，ld再次说不要VW，作罢。
technician带我看我的破车，闻出有点油味，再查了一下，我上次贪便宜在外面换的
valve gasket cover少了seal，但他说开到20mile开外的volvo dealership 没问题。
于是我回家找title，开车去volvo。刚出门的时候有点舍不得我的jetta，开起来感觉
真好，11年旧的车还那么紧致。刚洗过，vw的强大喷漆给人新车的感觉。
哪知local堵了30分钟，快上tollway的时候，我从后视镜里发现尾气很大，心理正嘀咕
怎么回事，马上前盖开始冒烟，赶快拐进一个parking lot，停车拽着小包抱头鼠窜，

现在评价很好啊 新的设计看上去不错，我倒是还没去试驾 看了很多评价都不错，但是
看了过去几年老款的reliability评价都很烂 有点hesitate了 |

Highlander, Sequoia (full size), Tahoe (full size)....Minivan is the best
