he put a handgun in his back pocket. The Chelan County sheriff’s office
said the 52-year-old Snohomish man had moved his .40-caliber handgun from
its holster to his back pocket Saturday to see if that position would be
more comfortable.
The Wenatchee World reported the gun fired the bullet down his left
buttock and left leg, coming to rest just above the knee. He was treated
at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. |

On Monday, November 22, 2004 Sylvia Hillebrand set out alone on a hike from
a trailhead near the Trillium Lake snow park area. Hillebrand was wearing a
winter coat and tennis shoes; she was not dressed appropriately for the
winter weather conditions.

On July 24, 2011, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a
hiker was found deceased in Buckskin Gulch near the confluence with Wire
Pass. Hikers stumbled upon the man, later identified as Bo Tian, 36, of San

的苦酒。（教训1：没有针对性的训练）因为考虑到自己以后要backpack，所以买了85
升的大背
包，加上45lb的负重，这使得我每次的上肩下肩都成为痛苦。我只买了一双hiking 鞋

我可以肯定，能够在大年三十走14mile山路，爬40度的大坡的hiker一定是hardcore
hiker。
诚然春晚好看，晨眠难醒；而浴山中晨曦，踏山径残雪；胸臆开张之际大汗酣畅，这份
快乐却是难以形容。
人生是一种际遇。一个偶然的地方，一个偶然的时间。不幸或如刘岩，舞者失去双腿；
芸芸众生如同我等，平淡着，也快乐着。际遇种种，若干年后我们也一定会记得这个
idlehour山路上的大年三十。也会记得这个传说中的坡。
其实这坡到底有多少度陡并不重要，重要的我们曾攀援过：每一块岩石，每一个歇脚点
，甚至奋力登上山顶那声长长的喘息。
其实快乐很简单，很纯粹，只要专心做一件事。专心地走路，专心地爬山；真诚的交谈
和微笑。

这样说是不是太过分了？
Mt Blady 从 Manker Flat TH由Ski hat 上, 再经Devil's backbone下并
不是一条危险的线路，平时hiker众多，solo的hiker也不少。上个星
期六(Dec/04)的天气不恶劣，即使对没有任何mountaineering经验的
hiker也没有到足够危险的程度。Dec/04之前由于多日气温稳定，雪
线上移，至少６０００FT附近只有在背阴处才有少量残雪，星期日的
降雪导致搜救困难，但这不能证明YU在Dec/04 Solo hiking的行为是
过分鲁莽或者孤身犯险。
人活着当然要对自己和别人都负责，但是take reasonable care并不能
阻止所有意外。
什么是日常生活必须？多少美国人因为长期过度肥胖导致心血管疾病
突发叫救护车，我们是否应该因为这些人长期不控制体重也派一顶
＂浪费纳税人的钱财＂的帽子给这些人？ |

现在在洗衣服，简单说一下昨天的过程。
大峡谷的 rim 2 rim 2 rim trail 全长42 miles，约70公里，爬升超过12000 feet，
约4000米， 虽然不是正式的trail running的比赛，但是春秋天气好的时候有很多人在
跑，昨天有至少40人在跑，包括一位60多岁科罗拉多的老先生，和来自DC 的MIT BBS的
两位潜水员，以至于沿途的hiker以为有什么比赛。

现在在洗衣服，简单说一下昨天的过程。
大峡谷的 rim 2 rim 2 rim trail 全长42 miles，约70公里，爬升超过12000 feet，
约4000米， 虽然不是正式的trail running的比赛，但是春秋天气好的时候有很多人在
跑，昨天有至少40人在跑，包括一位60多岁科罗拉多的老先生，和来自DC 的MIT BBS的
两位潜水员，以至于沿途的hiker以为有什么比赛。

Two lost and injured hikers, stuck in heavy snow and ice in the Mount San
Jacinto wilderness, were rescued by three other hikers on Sunday night,
according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Hikers Swept Over Yosemite's Vernal Fall: Report
Park officials at Yosemite National Park reported that at least one visitor
fell from Vernal Falls on Tuesday afternoon.
There are reports that more than one person went over.
According to a statement from the park, "The park has received unconfirmed
