For today’s reading, I offer you this important article by my American
Spectator colleague Quin Hillyer (and the linked article by the always
excellent John Fund) about the true, destructive racism of our nation’s
Attorney General. Eric Holder is, as if Christian Adams’ book hadn’t
already convinced you, a dyed-in-the-wool racist whose every decision
insults the justice system’s requirement that “justice is blind.”

我们准备走的道是从 Chilao Visitor Center 出发，走大约 3mi 到山顶。下山的时候
走 Silver Moccasin Trail 向东，最后到 Three Point 结束。全程约 7mi，爬升约
1000ft。起点和终点相距 2.2 mi 所以需要两辆车接泊。
Chilao Visitor Center 的 google 坐标 34.326453,-118.002639，在 210 高速下 2
号公路后约 26mi 处。
Three Point 的 google 坐标 34.343347,-117.982846，在 210 高速下 2号公路后约
28mi 处（也是 PCT 即 pacific crest trail 的一个进口）

发帖数: 4509 | 3 2号公路往里开十几迈就穿过了厚厚的压在LA上方的云层，那里阳光灿烂，天空湛蓝。
我在山顶上看到的落日，不是落在了山后，而是落到了云海的下面。下山的时候又看见
了满天的星星。可惜我最终还是要回到云层之下什么也看不见的地方。开车穿过云层的
时候一片浓雾弥漫，最浓的时候能见度不到5米。
有点诡异的是，到山顶的时候我远远看见一人穿着蓝底白边的外衣坐在石头上，心想总
算见到一活人。等我走近了才发现是雪地前面的一颗形状比较方的灌木，不知道为什么
在阳光的照耀下给了我深蓝色的幻觉。
从 chilao visitor center 的后面经过 horse flats 到 mt hillyer，单程只有 3mi
上升约 1500ft，加上到 trailhead 的 1mi 左右（因为visitor center这个季节不开
，车不让进），来回总长 8mi，我用了3个小时左右。这条道还可以向下延伸（即
Silver Moccasin Trail）。从山顶向西看颇有一览众山小的感觉。一路上时有片片积
雪但不是很深，一般中帮的登山鞋就可以对付。上 mt hillyer 的 2mi 有很多小拐弯
和局部的上上下 |

I've had enough, more than enough, of Barack Obama saying that we should be
"our brothers' keepers." All of us should utterly reject that notion. I
explain why here.
Obama did it again during his official Thanksgiving proclamation. I explain
why the claim is misguided both in terms of faith and of the American
political tradition.

At CFIF, I explain why the Boston bombing was the predictable outcome of (
even if not, of course, directly blamable on) policies deliberately forced
on the FBI by the Obama administration. This is actually really important
stuff, and it’s not jsut some ex post facto blame-game: Some of us were
warning about these policies six months (or more) ago.
