Possibly there ar many reports today, the above report was squeezed out of

大家可能都知道我们中国流行的话"女儿要富养，儿子要穷养“。
我自己从小家里条件不好，妈妈文革受牵连，丢了工作 （当然后来工资全部补齐，那
时后话），但是从小家里孩子多，条件差，对女孩爸爸妈妈也教育是自己一定要长本事
，好好学习，所以我们家里几个还算都有出息吧，尤其是我哥哥 （比我大1岁半），在
北京做得很成功。其实小时候也没有觉得太苦，因为大多人的条件都很差。
现在在美国，我们家里条件一般般，或者一般偏差？在国内的时候我们算是条件很好的
（往事就不再提了，我这人不喜欢凡是回头看或者后悔以前的决定，因为很多时候你
无法回头，这样只会徒增烦恼）。
我们只有一个儿子，儿子的先天很好 （智商148， 身高1.79， 12 岁）， 所以在学习
，锻炼上都很出色 （算我BSO吧）。

一个才８个月。
出事的当天下午，公司同事自动的提前下班去了他的家，看看能不能帮点什么。之后，
大家又开始捐款，全公司捐了很多。同事的家人决定用这笔钱用开了一个教育基金，奖
励他生前毕业学校里成绩出色的学生。
后来，我的Manager跟我讲了一句话：You don't understand what he meant to us.
这句话我想了很久。
其实，那位去世的同事家里很有钱，不会为生活发愁。失事的保险足够老婆孩子花一辈
子的。
大家之所以还捐款，是为了告诉他的家人：
He is one of our family. We loved hime and we DO care about him.
我想，这才是捐款的真正意义 － 让活着的人感到爱， 并且在这份爱的陪伴中迎接未
来。
如果你不愿付出这份关爱，不会有人责怪；但是不要用逝者家属需不需要前来作为不捐
