电话了20分钟,问了几个behavioral的问题,以为这就算phone interview了,结果
recruiter跟我说下一步跟hiring manager电话。一直感觉recruiter很客气的,说要跟
我connect,看看什么职位合适。是不是到hiring manager这步就没那么客气,像真正
的interview一样了?
话说HM一般是干什么的呀?是将来的老板吗?还会问那些behavioral的问题吗?真的很

Depends on what the HM want to know about you.
Still possible to have behavioral questions.
But usually more about technical stuff.

可以尽早开始。我周一面试后,hiring manager 说两周后给答复。可是HR的人说组里
这周就会定最后的人,下周一就给答复。
我有一种感觉hiring manager应该会很快就和他们最满意的candidate联系,不至于等
到两周后。两周后应该是拒信了。公司不是很大,也不是很小的那种。而且我是最后面
试的,是不是也说明他们从一开始就没有把我作为第一人选呢?
我已经对自己说要平常心对待。不行就在找。可是很难淡定,心里挺难过的。
不知同找工作的前辈的经验是怎麽样的。

两周前面试了一家公司,感觉hiring manager比较看好我,有给offer的意思,但是今
早HR来电话询问工作签证状况,我之前有过h1b(一年半),现在是h4(一年),按理说
h1b还有4年半可以用,但是HR问到了我现在有没有EAD卡可以马上上班,说办h1b会有
risk。所以我现在想该不该给hiring manager发封邮件或打个电话,希望他给offer的
决定不要考虑工作签证的问题,尽量往长远考虑。其它4个candidate也都挺强的,而且
现在我们行业工作都是老美主流,像我这样没有绿卡的人很少,所以。。。真是没注意
了,大家给点儿建议吧,非常感谢。 |

关键看年薪,一定要往高了要。
工作稳定和轻松其实不总是好事,不断寻找更高薪的工作才是正解,共勉。
工作比较稳定,还算轻松,就是工资涨不上去。现在有一个6个月contract to hire的
工作,工资还算可以,但前6个月没有benefit.大家有何看法,需要注意些什么? |

a hiring manager of one group with positive feedback, then on-site
technical interview with two team members of another group, no seeing hiring
manager of the 2nd group.

上礼拜烙印大老板开会,手下的managers 基本都是烙印,要求招人一定要
culture fit。manager 门个个心领神会。其中一个只招烙印,interview 时有一老美
极力反对招这个阿三,因为啥也不懂 ,阿三经理根本不当回事,给了offer,非常好的
package 和 level 都很高。我知道有几老中的 candidates,烙印连电话都
不打就reject 了。这就是目前和未来的IT老中就业和未来 |

1)过hiring bar了,但过得不多,就是先给match上project,有组要了就给发offer
2)过hiring bar比较多,就是先无条件发offer,接了再选组(因为这种一般肯定有几
个组要)
不过这是听来的,而且每个人情况不一样,不一定准,而且真是第二种也未必好,见仁
见智了
