很高，有的球员哪怕homerun也是有点像line drive低平球，比如arod的homerun线路都
比较低，这种球员在fenway打球就要调整，否则本来homerun的球多半是个single.
调整的结果是想要pull, 最后多半是个popup. |

经常注意braves的棒球比赛，如果他们哪天比赛第4 inning打出homerun，那第二天去
那里换轮胎就可以便宜140刀，good deal。先打电话预约，提出braves比赛homerun什
么的，再去。
再就是：discount tire
那里换轮胎有warrantee, 比如你的轮胎是7万迈warrantee，如果开了3万迈就磨坏了要
换，去他们那里他们可以把剩下的4万迈折合成credit，再加点钱就换新tire了，服务

我老人家当年也是棒球迷来着，对Oakland A's那种小市场、小成本球队，精打细算还
总能赢球的本事还是很佩服的。
不过电影里Billy Beane和Peter Brand跟球员们灌输一套观念，不要偷垒（steal），
不要牺牲打（bunt），尽量减少风险，减少犯错的机会，等着敌人犯错。这跟传统棒球
价值观完全是背道而驰的，如果所有队伍为了赢球都学着这么弄，可能会让棒球比赛越
来越沉闷无趣。传统棒球观念是鼓励积极进取的，要主动冒风险创造各种机会来进垒，
就像电影里后来A's输了季后赛后，一个评论员的话外音：You got to steal, you got
to bunt, you got to sacrifice, get your guy over to third base and bring
him in。

what Xiao claimed is 85% of homeruns (i.e., complete urinary continence).
7/9 is just increase in bladder pressure with stimulation of the dermatome.
And even this could be due to "not voiding volitionally or using the newly
developed cutaneous reflex" as one commenter pointed out.

呼小叫的。不过我们有绝对优势的13-8赢了，两队各有个HOMERUN.我儿子STRIKE OUT
一次，他已经习惯了，OUT一点沮丧的反应都没有。他做CATCHER,捂得好严实，不过还
是非常开心的样子，喝了一瓶半的GATORADE.

miracle happened twice in 9th and 10th inning.
David Freece's homerun was nice but not that important after 3 easy outs of
rangers on top of 9th inning. St Louis would squeeze out 1 point at bottom
of 11th no matter what. Rangers totally lose their sprits after leading two
points twice.

睡了一觉醒来, 天已经转暗, 不好, 球赛已经开始了.
赶紧打开电视, 今儿orioles对的是white sox. 上一
场orioles赢了明尼苏打, 这场他们要争取本赛季第一次
back-to-back win.
定睛一看, 俺就傻了. white sox 已经 3:0 领先了
还好是第一局, 俺想, 慢慢能赶上的, 但是orioles还是
跟前几场一样, first pitch swing, pop up, 好不容易
上了垒, 也因为三人出局还一直没得分, white sox 则又
得了一分. 数次俺都要狠狠心关电视, 上BBS来逛了.
就在俺手指头在遥控器上犹豫不决的时候, 赛季初orioles
从KC royal搞来的一垒手Connie第四局开局打出了个solo
homerun. 4 : 1.

可能和他的上一部棒球电影"Field of Dreams"相比稍微欠缺一些电影特质，但是
绝对和"Major League"之类comedy不可同日而语。这部电影绝对可以跻身最佳体育
电影之列，它的独特之处在于它从一个球员的角度来重现一场Yankee Stadium里多年
罕见的客队perfect game，很多镜头是在从投手的眼里去看比赛。影片的节奏很慢，
开始我都有点担心我周围的观众会不耐烦，但是当影片逐渐把观众引入Billy Chapel
的生活以后，我开始喜欢那些flashback和背景音乐起来。在"Field of Dreams"十
周年之际，Kevin Costner推出他这第三部棒球电影，也算是对自己的一个交代了。
没有他本人对棒球的痴迷，就不会有这些电影了。我在今年的All star game时看到
了一个Homerun derby的余兴节目，一些退休球员和名人参加的一个小的hitting
contest，参赛选手里面就有Kevin Co |

托TBS的福，看到了Millwood的最后三个outting,晚上又看了重播，
今天就来谈谈感想。
Millwood是我比较熟悉的投手，以前看Braves的比赛就比较多，去年和
今年他又在我的fantasy队里效力。以前他排在Maddux, Glavine和
Smoltz后面，今年转到Phillies担任头号先发。许多人预测他不一定
适应新球场，新球队和No.1 SP的角色，今年前几场球他的发挥有好有坏，
不过这场球面对NL排名第一的Giants,他的表现只能用一个词形容--
brilliant!!!
大概说下比赛进程，开始不太顺利，leadoff walk了一个，不过慢慢他
就找回了感觉，第一二局有点shakey，一个界外球差一点就是homerun
了，好在裁判的strike zone比较大，他的high strike |
