新西兰最高法院聆讯，一名在新西兰读书的中国留学生，“无缘无故”被两名男子杀死，并弃尸汽车后箱中。
法官获悉，两名男子在偷窃了她的银行卡后，发现并不像他们以为的那样知道密码，因此无法取出现金。18岁的中国留学生名叫李嘉仪（Jiayi Li音译，英文名字Kiko）。她的尸体于去年5月份在汉米尔顿自己的汽车后箱中被人发现。中国男子于红林（Honglin Yu音译）被指控谋杀和恶意抢劫罪名。
检控官Aaron Perkins表示，于和同伙李永新（Yongxin Li音译）当时住在新西兰的一个家庭里。他们计划一同杀死某人，然后再实施抢劫。
嫌疑犯于红林表示，两人是李嘉仪的朋友，他们趁她在汽车中，将其杀死，偷走了她的银行卡后却不知道她的密码。
两人在提款机中多次试了错误的密码后，提款机将银行卡吞掉。Perkins表示：“女受害人只因为一点钱，实际上一点钱都没有损失，就被人杀害。”

后来男的精心策划，把女的开车带到加拿大杀死，好像就可以避免死刑了。
