without the civil war, America could have been even stronger than it was,
with a somewhat more decentralized government. The notion of manifest
destiny already kicked in long before that, so becoming the world police
is almost inevitable. America would have democratized the shit out of the
rest of the world, and communism would have gone from cradle to grave, so
we don't even have to come to the states anymore.

the gun went off I blasted out. Couldn't believe that nobody was trying to
stay with me! Then I wasn't sure whether I'm supposed to turn left or right,
and the guy behind me said "follow the cop car!" So I went after the police
car, way ahead of the pack. It felt AWESOME! Though I let my adrenaline
took over a bit too much, and after 800m I knew I had gone out too hard.
