老虎，所以叫“老虎猫头鹰”，但我认为这种说法牵强。
1.成年 great horned owl。摄于 2014年 2 月。
Great horned owls 通常在三、四月份见得多一些，因为这是它们的交配繁殖期。当两
只站立有 0.6米高的大鸟成天在林中鸣叫和飞翔，想不让人知晓都难。今年我有幸有三
处地点看到这种猫头鹰蹲在窝生BB。
2. 6个星期大的猫头鹰仔。Great horned owl 的窝离地15米高，所以从地面很难观察
到刚出生的小猫头鹰，只有等它们较大时，才被人们发现。
3. 这时小猫头鹰的羽毛极象老虎身上的花纹，原来 "tiger owl" 由此而来
4. 黑夜里一双明亮的眼睛。7星期大的小猫头鹰已经能跳到附近的树枝，准备开始飞
fledge。这张照片拍完后的第二天，小猫头鹰就被人拍到飞落地，然后象小母鸡一样钻
到灌木丛里不见了 |

就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，
不过用promotion code (X2B-C8B-A94) 依然可以减少$2。
现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

horn. I've seen lots of drivers who never use the horn. they always said "
by the time I tried to use the horn, it's already over". actually it takes
no time to use it if you have such a habit. just don't abuse it like those
drivers in China.

的卡车倒车了，我停了下，结果它倒得比我预计得远，我有点了来不及倒车，判断距离
又没把握，于是轻按了一下喇叭，然后那个车往前开了，我倒车等。
结果旁边冲过来一个白人女性，40多的样子吧，冲我喊
hei！you don't need to horn， he can park here，it is public parking。。。
我连忙解释说我是因为怕撞上提醒他一下，he was backward while I am driving
forward, I have no time to stop so I have to remind him，我英语不太地道，不
过肯定说明白这个意思了。
然后那个女人就怒气冲冲地继续吼，说 that‘s impulsive（不知道用在这里是啥意思
），you shut out，you can't horn，he is OK to park here 等等等等的。

horn needs to be at least 96db at 100 feet. I measured the noise at
about 60 feet before, I believe it can reach 120db when it blows the
horn. Even when it does not, the noise can easily reach 90db.
At 1km away, I believe you can still hear the blowing train where there
is not much obstacle, when the surrounding is quiet --whether it
still qualifies as a noise depends on your tolerance.

需要注意的是,这个PER值是按per minute做过正规化的,我刚刚才发现这一点
这年队里leading scorer是kenyon martin的14.9 (同时还有5.3板2.6助1.2断1.7冒)
后面是van horn的14.8分 7.5板2.0助0.8断0.5帽
kittles 13.4分3.4板2.6助1.6断0.4帽
相比之下kidd是14.7分(全队第三) 7.3板(居然是全队第二!)9.9助2.1断0.2帽

楼主的动作是典型的"颠投",也就是说利用下肢,core的力量,
在整个身体重心向上的同时release.
这样的投篮动作下,脚不离地时出手,反而更容易用到身体向上的初速度
换句话说用这样的动作,颠投比跳投只有投的更远,或者相同距离投得更轻松
因为如果跳投的话,业余选手也不会跳起来得高很多(至少我不行),
而你在最高点出手却损失了很多向上的初速度,而真正决定球飞行的,
还是它release时的位置和初速,在前者没有明显提高的时候,后者就非常重要
身体给球多些初速意味着上肢可以少用不少力.
跳投的好处还是可以更容易获得稳定的投射平台(身体).尤其是在实战时你运动中接球,
或者即便三威胁也会有一个jab step收回的移动,
在空中稳定一些再出手因此相对在地面出手就占了稳定(因此出手动作更一致)的好处
当然对于真正的高手,还意味着可以利用hangtime来躲避防守或做其他腾挪动作创造空间
但这样的动作通常都会明显影响命中率,所以在中远距离上即便nba球员
现在喜欢这样做的也不多(需要注意的是八九十年代时这样做的反而多些)

救赎论
━━神与人和好的妙计
一、序言
神学家D. Hague谓：“救赎是基督教最高贵的表现，亦因为此点，基督教非仅是启示、
伦理的宗教，而是独一无二、与众不同的宗教”〔注1〕。新正统神学家E. Brunner亦言
：“认识十架就是认识圣经，亦等于认识耶稣基督”〔注2〕。
除创造外，救赎可算是神最伟大的工程，况且救赎更在创世前早已为人预备妥善（弗1:
4），可见神爱人之心是何等的长阔高深、溯源长远。
二、救赎的前题
救赎的前题分为两方面，一与神有关，另一与人有关：
A.与人有关━━救赎是因人的景况
1.先祖的罪━━据创2-3章所记，亚当夏娃犯罪，于是丧失永远生命，死亡中止他们与神
亲密的关系。惟他们是神爱心的创造、精心的杰作，神不愿罪剥削他与人之间的相爱，
神主动要与人和好，逐订立了“和好如初”的救赎大计。

今年冬天五大湖冰冻，到处水鸟大爆发，我们这里平时少见的Eared Grebe, Red-
necked Grebe都变得普通了。上次我已经贴过Red-necked Grebe了。可是今冬我还没有
拍到过Eared Grebe——直到昨天。
我在eBird上看到某个地方有它，就穿行过去，果然搞定。不仅如此，旁边两只Horned
Grebe也游来凑热闹，仿佛是专门让我比较一下。
