换管记
96年156888迈的Saab 900S，4缸2.3升买了没几天，开车的时候隐隐约约有Coolant的味
道。话说一天和LD开出3，4迈远的地方买桌子，只闻到Coolant的味道十分强烈，停车
后一小会，就看到绿绿的coolant从车子底下流出来，吓得桌子也没买就回家了。撑回
家后打开前盖，看到coolant从一根黑黑的管子上面“彪”出来。也只有“彪”字才能
形容当时的情况了，因为冲上来的水柱竟有人样高。空气中弥漫到处都是那略带刺激的
coolant味道。随着水柱慢慢变小，终于有机会看清楚原来是reservoir到radiator之间
的管子（radiator hose）漏了，想想既然是一根塑料管而已，就自己换好了。
写到这里，不得不插话说一下买管子的过程，也算有点意思。车不能开，而我才搬到这
样一个新地方，找不到朋友帮忙，所以只有走路，或者看路上有没有好心的陌生人带我
。出发的时候颇为顺利，在小区门口拦了辆车愿意带我，本来他只到一半距离的地方，
还特意给我送到Advanced auto parts，真是好人呀。回来的时候就可怜了，在 |

purchased one in March for over $20 and tried to use it today and the POC
somehow has the spray power of a gnat! Was looking to return it when found
this 'great price'. My 'regular' hose works well. Wondering if internal

但是修车师傅说很明显oil进coolant了，因为颜色不正常和oil少的不正常（20天前刚
加到合适的位置，现在比最小量都少）
问一下这样的话是不是能确定是 head gasket 的问题。。。如果是的话。。。修起来
要多少。。。

发帖数: 858 | 27 没错，我是要修的water pump,昨天买了haynes的repair manual,$24.99,里面的描述很
清楚。
今天忙了一天，将漏水的water pump换了，换了跟老化漏水的hose, flush了coolant,
总算全部搞定了。
算起来换water pump比较简单，就是最后装serpentine belt的时候方法不对，怎么都
装不上去，最后在youtube上看到一个类似的，才明白要将drive belt tensioner 抬起
来，而不是将它弄下来。
在drain coolant的时候，发现coolant drain plug 已经给人扭坏了，弄不下来，只好
把lower coolant hose 弄下来，从upper coolant hose 冲一桶水去。两个月前才在一
家中国修车店里flush了coolant,上周发现coolant leakge才知道他们加的coolant 居
然不是手册中指定的dex-cool coolant.
换hose最简单了，用钳子夹住clamp，扭几下就搞定了。修车的报价换hose是$65,以前
在其他州的时候修过一次破的hose |

发帖数: 2099 | 30 今天tandg应邀来为我修coolant leaking，说“give extra hand”，其实我根本不会
修，他从头到尾主打，我才是“occasionally give extra hand”。
我们把coolant灌满后猛挤radiator lower hose,发现出水点只有一个，漏水处随着挤
压出现漏水和倒吸气泡的声音，发现漏的是hose而不是water pump.不过这根hose位置
靠里，被好几根管子，oil filter和oil pan挡住，基本上够不着。tandg躺在车下干了
4个钟头，一个个的管子，filter,filter cooler拆过去，终于把这个hose割断取出来
了。这根hose本身很短，连接radiator lower hose和oil filter cooler，本身弯曲的
很，背面发现有一个很大的裂缝，这就是哗啦啦往下漏coolant的元凶，见下图。
装回去和拆下来一样费劲，空间狭小，中间tandg还割伤了手。下午六点才正式装完，
然后开始flushing, refill coolant,弄到8点才让在担架上躺了五天的A4重新站了起来。

发帖数: 9 | 31 花了两个下午, 终于把front & rear strut bar装上去了, 顺带换了head light
bulbs. :-) 之前除了装过air filter外, 没自己弄过, 算是第一次DIY. 有些问题,
向这里的前辈请教请教.
1) 装front strut bar的时候在passenger side的strut cover上多出来一东西,
怀疑是horn (?!). 挺奇怪的, 因为horn不应该是在那的. 晃悠半天, 后来是勉强把那
东西装回去了, 不过原来两个nuts现在只能用上一个了. 希望没问题.
2) 装front之前就知道front strut bar 和AC hose之间的clearance有问题, 最后
是把AC hose 在driver side的bracket 松了, 去掉一个nut, 只用一个, 把AC hose
降低了一点. (上网搜了一把, 有人是把AC hose 扭了来降低它的, 不过我不想这样,
觉得比较危险...)
3) 虽然降低了AC hose, 但两个东西之间还是蹭一块了,
跑的时候感觉到有点chatter,

自己研究了一下似乎这个2003 Mazda6 2.3L的PCV位置很隐蔽，不知道有没有人有这么
做的？
需要先把intake manifold拆下来，总共8个大螺丝有些很难整。

发帖数: 4179 | 35 谢谢关注。事实上，我连接的地方也是个“garden hose”的连接口，我是把整个接
hose的水龙头卸下来了，然后新的接口是1/2 NPT的。为了防止高温高压高速流动的压
缩空气有可能对hose水龙头里的橡胶垫圈造成不必要的损坏，我没有选择从hose连接处
直接接入压缩空气。这也是避免将压缩空气通过backflow preventor的原因，这个装置
里面有橡胶/塑料部件。
当然，如果你的水龙头取不下来，那就只能接hose的接口。
我问过HomeDepot的人，他们说从3/4 到1/4没有直接转换的，只能两级转换。估计是直
接转换浪费的金属材料太多。

I only bought one fire extinguisher. It is expensive.
I use sprinkle system for lawn,
garden sprayer for vegetable I planted this spring,
and garden hose for prevention of small fire in case.
I still don't have good idea of how to protect the attic efficiently.
Maybe another extinguisher installed there?
or a long garden hose?
I need to install hose adpater in the kitchenroom and then conduct

ok, here are my closing procedures. I live in MA, I close my poor mostly at
the end of Sep, although it could be sooner. My procedures apply to my in-
ground vinyl liner pool. I assume other types of pools are similar.
IMPORTANT: pool repairs are expensive! you have to be very careful, don't
rush, if you don't understand the steps, don't do it. you may ruin your pool
permanently!

不大的冰场灌了大概两天）。要保证最浅的地方至少有6 inches以上的水。剩下的就是
等老天爷帮你了。
修理冰面：我每次玩儿的最后几分钟都是推着个大刷子滑，像zamboni一样转完一遍,
把冰屑清理干净。然后接hose在冰上再灌一层水。等冻上就是新冰面儿了。
还是有很多work。听起来不难。但做起来不容易。比如用完的hose要拿下来，放到室内
，要不然就冻上了。有一些很简单的事在大冬天的室外也变得很麻烦。像我的hose的接
口在deck下面。冰冷的手哆哆嗦嗦接个hose都变成一项艰巨的任务。不过这一切形成

to get there you need firstly drain coolant, disconnect several hoses
including upper rad hose on the flange side, probably smog pump hose, some
specially shaped thingy.
might also have to remove air box, battery first too.
it's necessary to have a factory repair manual and tools like hose clamp
pliers，tweezers, offset wrench.

Any time I've seen the P0171 code on other vehicles, that exactly what it was #1) dirty/faulty MAF sensor. 2) Vacuum leak. Usually somewhere around the upper intake manifold (gasket, O-ring, etc..)
To look for vacuum leaks, you could use a hose in the ear (yeah, I know, Don's getting funny!). Seriously, use a vacuum hose with one end near your ear and the other end moved around the engine to likely leak points - hose nipples, gaskets, and so forth. 今天去修车，师傅检查了，说是radiator upper hose有裂缝，我也看到有液体出来，
师傅让我去附近的lincoln dealer买hose，因为一路开来水箱都沸了，我就等车凉下来
，才慢慢的开到dealer买了hose，一个小小的管子，90块钱。回来师傅给我装上了，点
火试试，还是过热，然后又漫长的等radiator凉下来，把thermostat给拆了，本来师傅
还让我去autozone买个新的thermostat，我开去了，autozone没货，师傅说这个东西不
装也没关系。
果然thermostat完全散掉了了，我估计就是thermostat先坏了，然后压力过高，导致那
个hose裂开的。修车师傅收了60.
早知道thermostat可有可无，我就应该早点拆，就不用浪费今天的150了。

找了家门口感觉还比较靠谱的修车铺花了300多（3小时x85 和一些seal，hose等）换了
PCV。
感觉油门稳当一些，但是idle的时候还是转速往下掉，而且容易熄火。但是没有引擎灯
亮。
再到处学习考察了一下，很像是throttle body的事，早上起来照着下面链接的内容给
它搽搽干净（确实有些黑油墨），然后上电idle了好长时间让车子再自我调整。现在开
起来已经比较稳定了，当然得多开几天再看看。
