we were welcomed with the number 1 drinking water in US (number 2 in world)
while check in, Happy hour all you can drink martini around 5pm, late night
all you can drink wine. fruits, cookie, drinks any time... 115 degree hot
tub and 90 degree swimming pool 24 hrs.
wonderful bed and breakfast.

天然温泉主要集中在desert hotsprings

tops基本上都是小的boutique hotel

这个几个肯定是natural hotspring water
每个地方的温泉水都有特点，desert hotspring的特点是无色无味，可以直接饮用。
所以去那里，除了泡澡，喝那里的水也是一件必须的事。也许我这次带上茶叶，看看泡
出来的茶会不会味道不同。 |

1。机票从Alaska Air定。SFO< —> Fairbanks
2。Hotel： 本来打算住Chena[chi;na] hotspring resort, 可惜那里非常紧俏，提前
一个月已经没有空房。理由迟点再说。所以转到hostel $30ppl/day, 地址还不错，也
能看到极光， 不过在温泉里看极光的感觉更好，所以我们晚上还是去hotspring
resort看， 距离是往东再开一个小时。

Actually Cheltenham is famous for two things:
One is hotspring. Cheltenham is a travel industry city
especially for hotspring.
The other is the hippodrome. Every year there is a horse
race and many many people attend it from all over the
would. Queen's mother has a reserved seat just in the

发帖数: 2971 | 8 新年沿着395开了一段，停了BISHOP，BENTON HOTSPRINGS，MONO LAKE，JUNE LAKE。
在LONE PINE，开了MOVIE ROAD是有名的风景线，喜欢西部片的，可以在那里找到很多
场景。
BISHOP周边很多路都不开，虽然没有什么大雪，所以很遗憾，不能做很多的沿湖HIKING。
在BENTON HOTSPRING租的CABIN后院就是面对WHITE MOUNTAIN的温泉水池，天然温泉水
一直在那里流淌，真正是温泉水滑。夜晚是漫天的繁星。
120虽然关了，但是LOCAL人建议我们直接绕过铁门，反正是四驱车。一路没什么雪，一
片旷野，然后是前方MONO LAKE如镜的倒影。
JUNE LAKE竟然结冰了，还真有人在湖面滑冰。可惜我们没带冰鞋。
在JUNE MOUNTAIN滑了一天雪，人很少，初学者的雪道很长，学会了TURN，下次可以考
虑上蓝道了。
去的路上，在ROWLAND HIGH吃了福方园，包子饺子葱油饼，回来吃了京味轩，盐爆肚丝
，小炒肉，下次考虑去吃羊脸，牛头。 |

但是似乎需要预约，对面酒店比较安静，但是只是mineral water jacuzzi而已。其他
几个hotspring也需要预约。

1. Bixby bridge，carmel往南13mile 左右。著名的california 地标，经常出现在
各种明信片中。沿hwy-1往南开的话，在桥前有个停车场，可以停下拍照观景。今年三
月湾区下辐射雨的时候，把hwy-1一段路冲垮了，所以在bixby bridge北边一点有一段
100ft one-way traffic control。
2. pfeiffer falls, 在pfeiffer big sur state park 里面，60ft 高，about
half mile hiking。老少咸宜。
Trail 在redwood forest 里面，沿着小溪蜿蜒而上，无数的小木桥穿梭其中。

potable water source. Not recommended. My two cents.

This is my favourite especially for this year. There would be a lot of water

I went boating with a nice couple, to a place looks like an island in Florida
I've been to in April. Green sea water, palm tree, sunshine... then I saw
hotsprings and geysers under water, the boat went so fast that somebody fell
out of it. As the water is very acidic, the guy was killed and rotten, very
scary hehe

发帖数: 2636 | 41 Costa Rica以生物多样性著称，旅游业非常发达。如果不会说西班牙语虽然会有些
不方便，但没有什么大问题。
圣诞节是旅游旺季。这个季节旅游者大多以家庭为单位出行，中高档的hotel需要
提前几周预订。我们背了帐篷睡袋住每天住10美元左右的hostel，没房间就camping，
没有遇到过找不到住的地方的问题。一些游览项目我们提前预订了，实际上walk-in没
有问题。几乎所有的旅店都可以帮客人预订tour。唯一错过的是La Fatuna的Tabacon
hotspring，这个地方太popular，不提前预订没有进去成，小遗憾一下。
租车的话最好租4wd，否则即使一些热门的地方都不容易去（如Santa Elena）。除
了San Jose附近以外，路一般都是双向双lane，很窄。San Jose附近无论是不是rush
hour都会堵车，只不过是小堵和大堵的区别。如果一两个人去，坐bus+跟tour更方便，
在旅馆订。四五个人的话可以考虑租车。Costa Rica的highway系统规划得不科学，所
有的highway过town的时候就要在local拐来拐去绕 |

博物馆。
而且从fairbanks开进去是60mile的一个死胡同，路上风景不错，沿路还有很多camp
ground
northpole 离fairbanks 不到10mile，去逛逛半个小时就够了，小镇一共就一条大道5
条小街，有个圣诞老人之家可以去逛逛~

发帖数: 92 | 44 感觉有些行程不是很合理阿，比如在hotspring和蒙玛几个小时，却花了整整3天去
shenanhoh（完全重复且不如蓝脊和大烟）。又比如特地绕道去congagree。可能和访友
有关吧。
anyway,这种旅游注重的是风景在路上，所谓roadtrip其实那几个national park恐怕到
是其次的，重要的是家人一起长途旅行的感觉（lz好像还带了小孩？）很不错呀。
要是我，还会带camping一应物事， 呵呵。 |

For me, most difficult and challenging daily route while on the road is that

morning I have study both and design my own daily itinerary which

factors like transporation, accomendation, restaurants, everything all
together
with the goal of maximizing the time, money and adventure experience.
