发帖数: 4457 | 1 今天中午去了西雅图downtown的BAROLO。 这家餐厅在metropolitan building里，还挺
不好找的。好在今天阳光灿烂，寻找的过程还是心情很好的。BAROLO是一家以北意大利
菜而见长的餐厅。OWNER是兄弟2个。他们的父母在西雅图也开了几家著名的意大利餐厅
。
走进餐厅，感觉很舒服，虽然是一家不大的餐厅， 迎面的一堵镜子墙扩大了空间感，
让人觉得很开阔，光线也很好。 仿大理石样的桌面配上流苏的灯，显得干净舒服。
晚上在这就餐一定不错，点点的烛光配合吊灯以及与街上的车灯交相呼应，应该是一个
烂漫的地方。
上菜之前，先上了还有余温的OLIVE面包。松松软软的配上SUN DRIED TOMATO DIPPING
SAUCE，很容易入口。让我吃个不停。
点了3道菜。 我不吃甜点，就点了2个前菜，一个是Fagioli soup，通俗的叫法叫白豆
子汤。味道不错。吃意大利菜，我最怕吃加了一堆TOMATO SAUCE的酸不拉及的汤了。可
能是北意大利菜的关系，这个汤的味道很清淡， 还不错，但好像也没印象特别深刻。

发帖数: 5873 | 2 上周娃们春假，全家去了趟New Orleans，第一次。此行目的很简单：小人玩好，大人
吃好。于是自始至终嘴就没闲着。饱了累了，出来走走。70多度，城市上空含混着河水
的腥腻、烘干机的燥涩、虾蟹的鲜香和阴沟的腐败气息。那是一个萎靡、慵懒、颓唐、
暧昧、怡然自得的地方。
Day 1
早饭后备马出发，一路无话，只是中途在Mississippi的Meridian休息半小时。这个
Meridian内战时被美国历史上最大的纵火犯Sherman烧成白地，如今放眼看去，仍旧破
破烂烂，跟刚烧过没什么两样。傍晚抵达New Orleans，夕阳下雾霭蒸腾，车过长桥，
仿佛要一直开到云端去。
旅馆在French Quarter。办完入住手续，把行李往地板上一扔，匆匆出来觅食。街道狭
窄潮湿，两侧多是Creole风格的排屋，二层露台挤满酒客，或倚或坐，纹脉繁琐的铸铁
栏杆上挂着碧绿的盆花。渐近Bourbon Street，音乐和人声愈发嘈杂。可怜我两个平时
连汽车喇叭都很少听到的农村小娃东张西望地走，经常一脚踩进油汪汪的水坑里。

Participating Jimmy Johns Sandwich Shops will sell six of their most popular
sandwiches for $1 each Thursday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a customer
appreciation day.
Sandwich numbers 1 through 6 on the menu will be offered, and the four-hour
window will be strictly observed, ending at 3 p.m. sharp. Customers can buy
only one sandwich at the $1 price.
