houst需要保到贷款额，对于condo，需要保到appraisal value的20%，这个也是
homeowner insurance的大头儿，其他个人资产自己估计一下保就可以了。 |

event or activity scheduled at Rice University that may affect the
availability of parking lots or tennis courts there. Since there are so many
free tennis courts at Rice, and Rice is a central place in Houston area,
let's set to have this Tournament party at Rice.
During the Tournament, action photos will be taken, video will be recorded.
If you have special need for this, let Henry know when you email him for

发帖数: 4816 | 36 最理想的是有8对来参加，然后分成四对一组的两个组，小组内进行的循环赛，这样每
个对选手要进行三场比赛。之后每个小组的前两名进入到下一轮的淘汰赛。小组的第一
名将同另一小组的第二名进行比赛。这一轮的winners，进入三盘两胜的final match。
在淘汰赛中没有胜出的两对选手，如果彼此还是余兴未尽，那这两对选手还可以进行一
场比赛。
反正就是一个以fun为主要目的的比赛，那四队在小组赛中没有出现的朋友，小组赛之
后，如果还有兴趣，那就自己找对手，继续have fun了。

be awarded 2 Champion Trophies. Now, instead of 2, we ordered 4 trophies -
2 for the champion pair, and 2 for the runner-up pair.

最理想是有8对。因为这几天mitbbs的网路经常down，有兴趣参加这个周六在Rice的
Doubles Tournamen的朋友，抓紧时间报名. We are accepting the registration for
the last pair, and once we have eight pairs, the registration will be
closed.
另外，据我所知，报名的这7对中，有一对是混双的选手，其中的这位女选手是我的一

this time. However, we welcome any tennis fans to come to Rice Tennis Courts
this Saturday morning, watch the games and cheer for the players.
Four pairs (or eight players) will be freed up after the first round of the
tournament. Very likely, these guys will play more causal games. Make sure
you bring your rackets if you want to play. |

赛的朋友email过去了。
总之，原来希望有8对选手参赛，结果有10对报名的要参加。10 pairs are divided
into 2 groups。each group has 5 pairs，进行first round的循环赛。
First round，先赢到6 games的就赢了；in each game, after deuce，“sudden
death”rule is used - whoever wins another one, wins the game. 如果出现了5
：5，那就直接由一个7分的tiebreak（至少要多赢2分的）来定输赢了。
The top two pairs from each group advance to the second round or semi-final
round. During this round, full set rules will apply.

发帖数: 4816 | 48 地点是有待于同各位有兴趣的商搓。ITCTP是个没有多少经费的华人协会。最好是别再
花钱去租用场地。所以registration fee也就5刀。
如果你能搞定Rice的场地，在Rice也好。我也去信邀请了rogerall以及他的朋友来参加
，同时询问Katy那里能否有4+ free courts。如果都不行，那就考虑在Missouri City
的高中或初中的场地。这个地方对于有些朋友来讲，可能就是稍稍偏了一点。 |
