State。本来是银灰色的两门coupe在夕阳中逐渐褪成金黄色，闪闪发亮，与周围火
红的枫树相辉映着，融汇在周围方圆百里内的同样背景中，构画成十月的华盛顿州。
半晌，他举起手中的啤酒罐将剩下的啤酒一饮而尽，长长地吐了一口气，然后顺手用
力一捏，将不成形了的铝罐扔进一个纸盒箱里，转身进了屋子。这个一房一厅的公寓
里一片凌乱。刘春林重重地一屁股坐在沙发上，顺手拿起一张报纸胡乱扫了一下，再

英国威尔斯班戈大学(Bangor University)校长休斯（John Hughes）原本在明年夏季退
休，但他经大学户口向华裔前妻发出的骚扰电邮最近外泄，这些电邮被指有种族、性别
和年龄歧视成份，促使校方要求他提早在12月底辞职。
65岁的休斯出任班戈大学校长8年，大学一些教职员据报收到休斯发给前妻Xinyu Wu及
其现任丈夫的私人电邮，其中一则发给其前妻现任丈夫的电邮说：“我拥有她的青春和

发帖数: 70028 | 23 今年5月20日，英国星期天《泰晤士报》刊登评论员文章，对中国在英国举办孔子学院充满敌对态度。该文章引用伦敦政治经济学院著名政治和外交学教授Christopher Hughes对孔子学院的强硬和冷战的言辞（见附件2， 英文原文）， 在英国引起一场不小的震动。
5月24日，美国国务院以签证为由，要求孔子学院中国教师限期离境,引起全美数十家孔子学院，以及和孔子学院合作的大学，一片哗然。
把这两件事情连系起来，不难看出，中国利用孔子学院向全球传播文化和语言，被西方一些右翼分子，当成是中国政府宣传软实力的工具。
作为英方的孔子学院院长，我对这个问题，也是感到非常困惑和震惊。
为什么，中国政府诚心诚意地花钱推广中国的文化和语言，会遇到如此想不到的打击和阻碍？中国政府应该如何对付这样的打击？如何应对今后更加意想不到的困难？
本人认为，中国政府应该做好如下工作：
其一，保持冷静的态度，认真研究对方各种持不同观点和态度的人群，采取有效措施，争取亲华力量，尽量化解冷战思维人士的冷战态度。

海公公的确姓海，自称海瑞。早几年跟着帮大圈仔“跳飞机”，以难民身分获得了
居留权。原来跟着几个大佬“种草”
（种大麻），倒也买了两栋屋子，娶了个土生台山妹，生下两个儿子。大凡人都“
死于安乐”
，拖家带小的海瑞对那种刀尖上的生活逐渐没了兴趣，开始想转正行。谁知以前拿
惯了快钱，现在做这种小本经营的买卖就觉得不过瘾了。还是他那个台山婆有些胆量，
说就不如做夜总会吧，凭着你以前的那些朋友捧场，肯定有得捞。海瑞便一不做，二不
休，把温哥华Broadway上的一家原来台湾人开的卡拉OK顶了下来，稍事装修，改个名字
叫“她会红”
夜总会，又网罗了一批中港台来加拿大读书的学生妹，正式开张。靠着以前大佬和
道上兄弟的捧场，几年下来倒也赚得盆满钵满，人也白胖了不少。自此人称“海公公”
，两夫妻为“龟公龟婆”，连两个儿子也被叫成“龟儿子”，夜总会也变成了“丽
春院”。
不过直到今天，也没人知道海公公是何方人士。此君一开口便是南腔北调的，有说
是广东湛江的，也有说是湖南的，还有说是四川的，问起他在大陆发的什么财，往往是
顾左右而言他，可见此人鬼马之极。

警方表示，Hughes分别在今年5月和9月入侵该校网络。
他们在Hughes的笔记本上发现了36位教授的登陆信息。
警方称，Hughes使用其中一个账号登陆学校教务系统修改成绩并访问敏感信息。
Hughes为自己和另外两名学生修改了成绩。
他将自己的成绩等级从“B”改成“A”。
而将另外两名学生的成绩分别从“F”改成“A”、“C”改成“A”。
肯尼索州立大学使用了 Owl Express软件，当成绩被修改时，会以电子邮件的方式通知授课教授。
警方根据大学网络技术人员提供的信息追查到了Hughes的IP地址。
调查人员还表示，Hughes还保存了其他的信息，比如教员的工作经历、 财务和医疗信息等。

HHMI) that is named after Howard Hughes.
There is a documentary at PBS that says that Howard Hughes did not invented
two-cone drill bit, but he successfully patented it as his invention, so he
got so rich. His wealth later helped create HHMI.

缪孜恒的病情始终牵挂着所有关心他的人。我们很欣慰的告诉大家，孜恒已经出院了，目前正在
tucson一家康复中心疗养，10月底会回到租房继续恢复。孜恒的父亲非常感激这段时间里关怀帮助

打个不算特别恰当但是比较好理解的比方，假设我们从中国乘飞机飞往美国－－飞
到关岛了，这的确是美国，但是离其本土还差十万八千里呢，好比《大宪章》刚刚
颁布，离真正的法治和民主的路还任重道远；等飞到夏威夷了，这也的确是美国，
可是上面除了毛利土著、日裔华裔、海军大兵和旅游者之外，要想看看典型的美国
人恐怕还是找错了地方，这好比Simon De Montfort和Edward I时期议会刚刚试运
转，机制开始建立，模子已经越来越成型了，但还不能算货真价实；只有飞过了落
山鸡，才是真正地到了美国，好比经过了光荣革命，英国以至近代的法治和民主才

Hughes Anthony 指出，促进加国金融服务行业成为全球领导的整体措施，必须包括对付身份盗窃和相关犯罪的全国性措施。她在渥太华发表讲话后表示，加国目前成为了欺诈罪犯的避风港，因为加国的警力和执法力度并不统一。
Hughes Anthony 指出，加拿大的消费者很容易成为“网络钓鱼者”（phisher）的目标。所谓的“网络钓鱼”（phishing），就是利用虚假的电子邮件信息或网页，向消费者骗取可以对他们进行欺诈的个人身份信息。
随着新科技的发展，加国的身份盗窃现象也日益猖獗，据估计，身份盗窃每年会耗费加拿大人20亿元。
Hughes Anthony表示，如果加国拥有单一的警察机构对此类犯罪进行打击，而不是由渥太华和各省的警方共同负责相关执法，当局将可以更好地应对这一问题。
