在骑驴找马找工作,刚知道上周五的一个onsite黄了,挺感兴趣得一个startup
分析一下,跟两个VP都谈得很好,估计就是被一个peer给说了坏话
先说一下背景,hiring VP相当年轻有为,手下一个一把年纪的,就是这个peer,一看
明显的不聪明干练
其实这个peer两年前的title是VP,没干好所以bring in了现在这个VP,从此公司的
product strategy得到调整蒸蒸日上
当时onsite就觉得这个peer不太友好,绵里藏针。Hunch就是他怕我加入了更影响他地位
不知道大家有什么好建议碰到这种情况怎么办?

除了一种情况,就是没有相应的中文词,不用英文就无法确切表达时。
而很多国人(留洋的,海归的,港澳的,外企的等等),中英夹杂只是夹些简单的英语
单词,论其动机,不外是炫耀其涉洋的背景(留洋或成长在殖民地?)。
当年阿Q正传里的“假洋鬼子”这样说:“我是性急的,所以我们见面,我总是说:洪
哥!我们动手罢!他却总说道No!——这是洋话,你们不懂的。”
诸位现在不但终于听懂洋话里的No了,还象那洪哥一样说了起来。
再看看钱先生在《围城》里是怎样描写这种ws的:
“Hello! Doctor方,好久不见!”张先生跟外国人来往惯了,说话有个特征--也许
在洋行、青年会、扶轮社等圈子里,这并没有什么奇特--喜欢中国话里夹无谓的英文
字。他并无中文难达的新意,需要借英文来讲;所以他说话里嵌的英文字,还比不得嘴

My hunch is that Eric Schmidt is readying himself to be the next CEO of
Apple.
I know this is a crazy idea. But Schmidt and Jobs used to be very close. He
was for a while on the board of Apple. He may feel that he has a
responsibility to lead Apple if Jobs can no longer do so.
It's fun to know that Schmidt is the co-author of Lex (remember Lex & Yacc?)
. He wrote the code when he was an intern. 码工出身,根正苗红啊. :)

Yes you do hear about factory KBs. Lots of the KBs out there are factory
ammo.
And "factory" reloads are really no different than a factory new round
except the brass has been fire previously. These large scale "reloading"
outfits are not hiring illegal immigrants to hunch over a Dillon or Hornady

If you google 'clean tacky chinese rubber', you'll fine there are some
people swear by sweat, some by special solution, and some by water. I am in
the water camp.

This is a guy who has set the American record in 5000m and is the second fastest American in the half marathon. But even he needed to work on his form in order to do well in the marathon, and on the way of moving to forefoot strike he experienced some setbacks.

还看两过chiropractor,要我一星期去两次,去个几十个星期!!好几千刀!太WSN就没
去了。
我hunched back + head forward+大头。。肩膀和腰肯定特较劲。
这个要能改,那就牛大发了。
