远山的召唤 – Hurricane Hills Trail游记
周六，早早起来，为了赶过海的轮渡，8点多，Edmonds码头的车不多，天空兰兰的，远
处海面有少许的雾气，外面的空气清冷但是清新，我们登上了8点50的轮渡，甲板上有

子，美国这样的简易木房子哪里抗得住hurricane，要是国内农村的房子就没问题。
盖一栋坚固房子比普通木房子贵多少，普通木房子每几年被hurricane大破坏一次，三
四十年下来加上hurricane造成的损失的钱估计比盖一栋同样大小的坚固房子还贵了，
而且美国木房子每年维护费也不少钱。
政府为什么不限制在那些high risk地方改这种简易民宅，要盖的话，就只批准坚固的
民宅，钢筋水泥砖块，要么就集体住apartment大楼。
少在high risk地方盖一些简易房子，hurricane来的时候造成的损失也少一些。 |

顶吹没了，被水泡过的话，这房子要花大把钱修复，每过几年又一次大hurricane。。。
再从大一点角度看，很多时候hurricane造成的损失很大一部分都得依赖联邦政府提供
援助，最终都得纳税人买单。所以政府可以在high risk地区严格把关building code，
尽量在hurricane中减少损失。 |

。这样子你自己在那些high risk地方买木头房子时就得三思，买了估计也买不到保险
公司的保险，就算买到了也很高价，这样子考虑着考虑着估计就买apartment去了。
很多东西就看政府想做不想做，要是政府对于hurricane造成的木头民宅任何损失的一
贯态度是不提供任何援助，让homeowner自己解决，这样子本来买的起的可能也买不起
了，因为贷款变难了。银行贷款时也会掂量掂量，房贷没付清前的房子还是银行的，到
时候要是房子买不到hurricane保险，在hurricane损失够重，政府不援助，房贷还有很

好后开裂的更常见。沿海地区台风很大的时候也经常看到有屋子倒塌的。

后者是一个大雪山和其南面的几个独立开来的山峰。如果只是看雪山的话，我觉得还是
Mt Rainier更好。不过楼主去Hurricane Ridge，应该还是要游览奥林匹克的其它景点
吧？所以不妨Hurricane Ridge和Mt Rainier都去。
另外，楼上建议租车是对的，不光方便一些，沿途还可以停车看到很多景点。如果租车
的话，paradise和sunrise一天都可以玩到。sunrise也有不太难的trail，而且景色和
paradise还是不大一样的。 |

肘就跟用这线有很大关系，当然主要是打球时间太长太密。我也正在找一种替代的做法
。我打球比较暴力，普通的尼龙线通常用不到4、5次就断了，所以改用p H，但现在也
不敢用了。建议可以试试看子母线，兼顾耐用和弹性（我之前用的结果是还是不够
durable）,或者，有人给我建议用Pro hurricane新推出的一种Pro hurricane Feel线
。还没用过，据说稍软些。为了健康，只能换线了，我也在尝试中，一并求教各位了。 |

发帖数: 401 | 36 一大早五点，天还是墨墨黑的，我们就爬起来了，因为要赶去Hurricane Ridge看日出。
沿着弯曲的公路盘旋上升，到达山顶时，山峰阵阵，冻的我是直打哆嗦。看看气温，才
30度。我们这次trip，算是
历经温差最大的一次，从弯曲开上来路过三快馒头地区时，气温曾高达110度，与最底
气温足足有80度的温差啊。
太阳一点一点出来了，可惜天有些阴，云彩也不是很多，所以照片不是最理想。
从Hurricane Ridge上可以看到对面山顶的冰川，很壮观。
我们在山顶走了几个小trail，感觉整个Hurricane Ridge就属于我们两似的，一直到我
们离开，都没见一个人影。
下山后在我的坚持下，我们又返回了Elwha。先去看了Madison Falls，也不是很
Impressive。倒是trail旁有一棵枯
死断裂的大树，树身中间都是空心的，大个子爬了进去，我则爬到树上，给他照了这一
张。
接着去看了Elwha hot springs，那里共有七个hot springs，已经有人一大早的hike进
去泡澡，7个里面就我看来
第一个比较好，其余的fungus比较严重，感觉不是很卫生。

助拨款作为第一考虑要素的话，那就在某些high risk地方严格限制building code，这
样子可能会把很多居民从SFH木房子赶进apartment 大楼。
帖子的核心内容是围绕了降低hurricane造成的损失。但政府的钱毕竟不是政府自己的
钱，说白了都是纳税人的钱，政府不一定care从长远角度如何造成损失。

发帖数: 369 | 46 没用的，已经形成飓风了，很难应对了。“热带气旋称为飓风”，飓风差不多等于狂风
和热带气旋的结合，狂风面太广，人类还没啥很强大的东东和自然对抗，相对于狂风，
热带气旋可以算做点，相对于对付一个面状的狂风，不如对付一个点状的热带气旋，在
气旋上空投放大量东东挡住太阳光，相当于起到太阳镜的类似左右，削弱强烈阳光照射
，这样子可以给那部分过高温度的海洋区域降温。
所以说以后靠科技降低hurricane的影响也不是没可能，多久以后技术成熟具有实施性
，估计这辈子看不到。而且这事要在刚有热带气旋苗头就得做，热带气旋大了做起来更
不现实。
这么多自然灾害，我个人相信hurricane确实与climate change有一定关系，所以还是
支持greenhouse。

房东真不好当。十二月份房租一号就应该付了，结果房客发信说sandy损坏了电梯 （
building共五层，我的房子在五楼），lobby进水了还没修复等等，十二月份房租到现
在还没付。后来我给了几封email update, condo association 也修复了电梯，lobby
的装修还在进行。今天写信要房租，她又说什么nconveniences endured之类的只肯付
一半多点。我还没回信，想先等他明天把一半的房租付了再说。打算写i will give
