Also, this will pass to your son but not your daughter (it was passed from his father). So it's in his gen -- don't blame him.
Many years ago there was a US movie that documented a champion runner who had this issue when he was a kid. It was very touching. You should find it and watch it.

is relative stable and won't change much over time. For example,
if you are outgoing, it's not easy to to introvert. It's relatively
easy to change habits. Habits are behavioral patterns or programmed
