。跟大多数面试差不多。不一样的是：1、faculty面试多，见了8个人，这一点恐怕只
有MD Anderson可以比。2、吃饭时候PD在场。一般跟fellow吃饭都是大家问秘密问题的
时候，unsupervised，但是整个吃饭时间几个PD和Associate PD都在。
Reputation：9/10。对于不做肿瘤的人来讲，Fred-Hutch的 名气并不是很大，但是对
于hem-onc特别是对BMT感性趣的来讲，Fred-Hutch是预定一的高手。US News排名肿瘤
排第六。血液病特别是BMT恐怕是全美最好的。
Competitiveness：9/10。因为城市好，reputation好，fellow的placement好，竞争力
很强。我是当天面试唯一的一个IMG。他们招人也很看重research，所以面试者中，MD/
PHD有好几个。
Basic research：10/10。这个program恐怕是最重视research training的 |

因晚来了一个月，我也找不到合适的地方玩，就联系了一个朋友带我们去农场。这家农
场不大，就30头奶牛，他家两个双胞胎闺女都在我们大学读书，一个是牛奶专业，另外
一个是营养专业。距离有点远，开车2.5小时才到。到了以后就带我们看小牛犊，有5种
不同的牛牛，就记得了一个名字，像是“赫斯谭”的样子，最贵的牛牛，这些小牛犊非
常可爱，一生下来就要离开妈妈的怀抱，自己单独住在一个hutch里面。我问Lydia和
Claudia，小牛犊离开妈妈的怀抱哭吗？她们说，有的前几天要不停的叫唤，有些根本
不在乎。公的牛牛会在hutch里面呆四个月就有人来收购走，母牛就自己留着变成奶牛
产奶用。这对双胞胎，她们的爸爸本来是养了几头小牛，让她们每年参加镇上的比赛，
后来奶牛越来越多之后就有了自己的农场，早晨3：30就起来挤奶，下午3：30再挤一遍
奶。这30头牛分别有自己的名字，双胞胎姐妹能把他们一一分清楚，并叫出名字以及说
出他们的性格。
