pollutants (pharmaceuticals, personal care products, hormones, etc）的去除。
一般的WWTP，设计的时候考虑的参数和目标只是宏观污染物的去除，BOD, NH3-N, P等
。我没有发现哪个厂的设计里头考虑这些微量污染物去除的。
activated sludge process 可以通过sorption, aerobic biodegradation,
hydrolysis, photolysis, and volatilization 去除一些污染物。其中以前两个机理
最重要。现在研究比较多的是长SRT 带来的好处。虽然有不少不错的结论出来，但还是
研究阶段，我没发现用到设计实际水厂的。但是MTBE备不住可以air stripping出来，
这个我没查过。
有趣的是，MBR 的有效性跟膜的特性有关。虽然维持比较高的SRT时，MBR会把HRT降很
多，但是但是去除这些微量污染物的时候，ultra-filtration memb |

years). enzymatic degradation can be fast though (e.g. lipase). it melts
around 50-60 C. |

I did try using concentrated HCl, the polymer was soluble, but not
hydrolyzed (dilution the HCl concentration to half and the polymer
precipitated out).
I can't use tert-butyl groups because the methacrylate is actually a fused
to a lactone ring.I am trying to ring-opening the lactone ring by hydrolysis. |
