Airport Extreme (router), Time Capsule (router + HD so it holds Time Machine
backup) and Apple TV will become ONE product. I would call it iCenter or
something. Once Apple decides to enter the gaming industry, it would also
replace things like PS or Xbox.
Apple would concur my living room with a complete solution, with a minimun

情况，已经defense，并且committee 都签字了。 导师转述结果的时候表示 他们要求
我把剩下的文章submit出去，但是不影响毕业。 之后还发邮件 通知thesis修改意见，
并且告诉我什么时间交给他，以便利用暑期学期的deadline毕业。
之后2天，他从international center 那里得知我的opt已经approved。 然后就突然发
了一封信给我，说要我把暑期注册的学分退掉，放到秋季学期，然后使用这学期的
deadline。并且，因为没有funding，可能给我一半的RA support. 他同时告诉了系里
的秘书，秘书发信给我，要我去注册中心要回暑期注册的钱。
我I20八月底就结束了，现在再用opt,不可能换回i20了。
重要的是，我那两篇文章在他手里3年了，我每次问他，他每次都说我马上就就改，但
是基本上就是没有下文的那种。他还希望我再写一篇。我基本上不认为他能在短时间里
完成。所以严重怀疑他之后还会找理由拖。
我就去找了international center，他们表示确实我导师曾经打电话询问能不能用opt

however, some universities require
one year stay to qualify CPT. You'd
better go to Icenter for more info.
Moreover, H1B approve will terminate
your student status. In other word,
you are not eligible for CPT, OPT if

6月18 receipt date，
8月25 post decision，
8月28 card production
9月3 card received
加急两次被拒，感觉vsc没有90天加急成功率很低。
另外我8月初提交h1b申请，一周时间久批了，
开始还担心opt和h1b有冲突，但是icenter人说是两个
不同系统。对于我h1b和opt没有冲突。

opt 先申请，后批。

司也会惹麻烦。然后他们给我定义了一下什么叫volunteer，是在OPT之前可以做的，就
是类似于去孤儿院或者养老院，陪小孩子玩喂老人吃饭那种。。。。ORZ。。 |

到三个月，所以选择了6月20号开始。
但是现在很有希望拿到一个offer， 但可能要求毕业后马上开始工作， 我5月15号毕业
，想选择opt 早一个月生效（比如6
月初）， 想问还能不能改opt生效的时间？是不是要icenter 重新生成一份新的i20？
如果这样是不是回delay opt的处理？

这个是正解。是你们国际中心的政策有问题。
你应该可以在现有的sevis过期之前，申请延期毕业。
感觉我们学校的规定，这样的话你只能halt time opt工作。但是身份依然有效。
下面是我们学校的icenter给的说明。
Option #2 – Not recommended, but F-1 Status is maintained
Apply for Program Extension by Program End Date but after the OPT
application is approved by the USCIS
You can only work part-time on OPT until the end of your final

算错了是说我7年前刚本科毕业，来美7年是2.5年MS，2.5年PHD，2年工作。
打电话给truescreen，SSN那个没PASS是因为提供的地址和SSN记录里的不match。
SSN里面是公司的，我现在在work from home,在老婆这里，这个M向我要最近3张
paystub时我已经说了。。。因为paystub上是在公司的地址。
但是我觉得这事都不大，感觉还是PHD的问题，因为虽然truescreen已经verify我的MS
学位了，也verify了我那3年确实在读PHD做RA（working experience），我也向他们的
bg check team解释了现在没有PHD学位，可以提供成绩单，但是或许就认定我这方面
cheating了。
基本没戏了。。。

TAX Filing Requirements
Whether you worked in calendar year 2008 or not, filing United States income
tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is required by federal
law and is mandated by your immigration status. This also applies to your de

主申请人，rfe三个
1）证明要继续从事140上说明科研工作。
好像最近好多人都被rfe这个？大家都提交什么？我准备提交一封老板热情洋溢
的信，另外140以后被接收的一个book chapter，和一个会议文章接收通知。可以了吗？
2）paystub。这个好办。
3）结婚证正式公证。这个只能委托国内的人办理了。
LD两个
1）领导SEVIS记录上的工作单位跟表格上填写的不符，这个最麻烦，想听听大家的意见。

核心问题是，如果opt延期期间换雇主，因该如果让sevis系统里面体现出更新？是跟国
际中心汇报吗？如果我当时汇报了但sevis又没有相应更新，是不是应该回去找国际中
心？
