paralleled routines. My default !cpu.tpool_Nthreads has always
been setted to 0. I dont have idea whats the approriate value
for TPOOL_min_elts.
everytime when i was so confident in my PROs, the output
result turned out to be wrong, after 2 days of helpless waiting.-_-
btw, one of my rules is, never call ENVI routine in IDL, hehe

Both IDL and matlab can do a good job, and they are much
easier to learn than C or Fortan, also much easier to code and debug.
从个人观点来看， IDL比Matlab在编程上麻烦一些， 但是比Matlab
robust， 尤其处理图形的技术比较成熟完善。Matlab简单得多，而且可以和
原有的C, Fortran程序联合实用，更强大的一个功能是Matlab的toolbox很多，
有时候数据处理很方便。当仅就做model而言， IDL的功能该是足够啦。
Matlab的问题不少， 许多subroutine很可能就不能work出正确结果。听说
wavelet toolbox就没多少人敢用， 而大多用stanford那套wavepackage。
我也有个亲身例子：
一次homework， 老师让拿matlab写一个一维FFT插值的程序， 我想
这不Matlab有现成的吗， 就把那个code稍做修改交上去啦， 结果10分才 |

root了用户可以调，但是不root还是有厂家策略。
比如同样的U放到手机和放到平板就肯定不一样。
回到idle的问题，我觉得至少两个原因：
1 唤醒其它内核/切换任务有开销，毕竟是idle不是sleep状态
这样多个内核响应更快。idle本身耗电少，用户体验更加重要
2. cpu功耗是非线性的，异构的就不说了，同构的U
可能单核1G的功耗和三核四核每个500的功耗差不多
这种情况下显然多核更好 |

高速下来开到家里那段时
间，turbo也就没那末辛苦了，所以到没必要停车了还在idle. 但比如高速直接进休息
站停车时，就给它idle一下。
此外就是你拖trailer的话，停车idle也是要的。 |

那个寒冷天儿洗了车后，碰巧就听到 idle 时muffler喷气时扑扑的比以前响，
当时以为是正常（只不过以前平时没注意它的声音原来有这么响）
可是Thanksgiving在寒风中开了一趟长途回来后，
发现开local muffler有明显的爆裂扑扑声了，不太正常！是消音箱前部附近传来的。
难道是因为偶前头idle着踩油门给电池充电 干得太多，muffler吃不消？
请问无负载踩油门（2000rpm）过多会不会有类似的严重伤害？
顺便介绍一下这个冬天碰到的其他一些乱七八糟的问题。
当然，首先是电池坏掉了，
同时发现starter磨损太多要rebuild了，
接着就是刚才muffler的问题，
同时又突然看到右窗玻璃似乎关不严（不知道是窗框某个地方积冰把窗玻璃一端塞住了
只能另一端往上走，所以是翘着关上的还是怎么招；或者还是因为高速上外压太大，
打开了窗户就不容易关严。。。总是很怪），回来检查，窗玻璃明显觉得向前错位移位
了一点点，用手矫正着关才把窗玻璃关严。。。

其实很简单，就是idle speed过低了。调整了一下那个螺丝，就好了。
赫赫。
以前他让别人换过了spark plug，distributor cap and rotor，但是
问题还是没有解决。每次打开AC以后，路上开着，红灯一停就熄火，甚
至有几次刚刚换到AC ON就不行了。近来更严重，有些时候正常开都会
熄火。
好了，大概说一下步骤吧，还是有些曲折的。一开始和朋友研究了半天
Nissan的Service manual，感觉和honda的差别好大啊。找个东西挺难
，而且开始的时候看不懂电路图。然后按照上面的步骤，首先测了timi
ng，感觉正常。然后准备连接tachometer测idle
speed。我买的那种tacho真的很麻烦，需要找到primary ignition
coil的负极。Nissan的这个也没有专用的接线柱。只有像我上次那样，
直接用卡子接上一段线。
研究了半天电路图，发现有一个接口有这个信号，从manual上面看，觉
得在ECU的旁边。于是拆了半天面板，朋友和我把ECU从gas padel旁边
扒拉了出 |

最近车子又出毛病了，之前有一些misfire,P0300, P0302, P0303, P0316，换了
ignition coil
spark wireset后好了一阵子，大概一个月，后来毛病又开始反了，rough idle，code
也相继跳出来。
最近的两天，idle的时候抖动非常厉害，时不时的转速降得非常低，然后就熄火。回来
一测，冒出两个新
code，以前从来没看见过什么意思，P0171 system too lean(bank1) P0174 system

发帖数: 766 | 37 9万mile，idle的时候能感觉到轻微的misfire。换完之后感觉idle安静很多，没有misfire的感觉了。
拆下来发现一个缸的火花塞锈的比较厉害。最里面的两个火花塞永远是最难access的 -
- 需要耐心。熟练使用套管扳转向适配头是关键。
一共八个火花塞 -- 照完照片发现少照了一个换下来的 -- 还好，不是少装了一个。
照片里黄色的连接头是fuel injector的wire connector，有的需要拔下来以腾出空间
来access 点火线圈。
所用的工具 -- 别忘了涂一层anti-seize lubricant到新的火花塞的螺纹上。
spark plug socket也是必须的工具之一。

我的 BMW E39 那天终于怠速为零了。启动可以，要赶紧踩油门才能保持运行，油门一放就熄火。
网上查，ICV(idle control Valve), MAF(mass airflow sensor), CPS(camshaft
position sensor) ,fuel pump, 真空泄漏 为几个首选嫌疑。火花塞才换过不到一年。手头没有code reader.
fuel pump/filter 没问题，因为试了一下，拔掉fuel pump fuse, 连启动都不行。看样子发动机不缺燃油。
拆进气部分。过滤器，进气管，MAF。DISA 也顺手拆了查了（这个零件要220刀），没有传说中的坏掉的迹象。 MAF目测看来没问题，万用表测了好像也还好（这个零件要400刀）。
根据大多数人的建议，换了CPS (intake side， ebay 上杂牌要40刀，原厂的网上至少120+刀 local更贵， 我在autohauzAZ 买的杂牌$60). 为了换CPS还得把 oil filter cap和 VANO 电机 |

点燃发动机自然就会停止转动；同时也可能是喷油嘴堵塞。如果idle时候稍微轰油门，

启动后发动机抖动很厉害，要idle一阵后等发动机热了以后抖动才会慢慢变小。有两次

漏很多油，薄薄的一层油膜是正常的，再把车趴在平地，用手按住车的一角用力压下，
松手后车应该直接恢复原状，如果车上下抖几次才恢复原状，那么struts有问题。
回到你的问题，如果是我的车，我会先检查是否idle转速过低。然后检查发动机是否缺
缸，发动车后，用手从火花塞拔出一根spark plug cable，正常情况下，发动机会由于
这个气缸不工作而抖动得更厉害，如果发动机没变化，那车抖动的原因就是此气缸不工
作。同样每根cable都试一遍，如果没查出问题，我下一步会拆下throttle valve查看
是否idle通气通道堵塞，清洗一下就可以了。

见我前面写的方法，用throttle body cleaner发动情况下清洗fast idle valve，呵

发帖数: 606 | 44 EVAP-leak了就直接换，或者找到leak点，小leak的话用RTV或相应的sealant
P0300说明有misfire，P030#说明第#缸misfire。将第2缸的点火线圈在发动机idle的时
候拔掉，如果发动机转速/声音没变化说明该缸确实有问题（有些车在idle时拔点火线
圈会有checking engine，这个没所谓，消了就OK），换#2缸的火花塞，问题还没解决
，有可能是#2缸点火线圈和#2缸injector的问题。

发帖数: 46 | 45 哈哈，我花了两年时间才搞定这个maxima的maf的问题，答案是：
1 如果要换maf，一定要DIY，不超过5分钟就能搞定，只需要一把六角起子；
2 我的办法是，去买瓶mafcleaner，虽然我洗了n次才搞定，但是绝对是值的--因为确
实可以洗干净，不过你需要检查你的filter'先，确认干净。
还有就是maf如果故障，Did you get rough idle?
不过，听你的症状，应该是fast idle 故障，你需要清洗throttle body。
