我从itune购买并下载了几部动画片，在ipad4上手机iphone5上均能看，在imac上就是
黑屏，图像声音啥都没有。

朋友的iMAC里有一个蟑螂窝，因为发现每次都能看见从光驱的位置爬出一只只的小蟑螂
，并且在iMAC的边沿处能看到黑色的颗粒状的蟑螂“便便”的痕迹。求大家支招，怎么
能把这个蟑螂窝端了啊？
已经尝试拆机，目前只是把屏幕给拆卸下来了，由于没有特殊工具无法拧开里面的螺丝
，所以无法彻底拆开。

说mac稳定，我这台基本上就装了photoshop/office，主要用来同步iPad，经常机器就
没有响应了，软启动都不行，只能强迫关机，我的资源有些放在网上的Win PC，这台
iMac经常连接不上，可能最大的残念是，配置这个机器的人很弱智，没有上i7，sigh……
Mac Mini：非常好，用无线网连接Win PC上共享的资源非常稳定，比iMac过一段时间就
怎么都连接不上强多了，外形整合得非常漂亮，外加自带hdmi，音频输出信号也很好，
视频、音频比我用过的media box都强很多，太赞了。
MBP：好的地方不多说了，准软肋有两点：重量和屏幕解析度，5.x磅实在是有点忒重了
，屏幕看惯了一些更高解析度觉得1280x800有点低，而且我这台配得失衡，8g内存却没
上ssd，what the……
iPad：现在我是天天不离手了，iAnnotate很好用，加上goodreader看电子教科书、小
说、漫画加上泡泡网很爽，尤其是读pdf比kindle(dx)强太多，轻松游戏也很不错，好
玩的游戏不少呢 |

四年前的imac用的是台湾造的电容，那个是台湾人从日本人那里偷来的秘方制造的
但是秘方少了一个原料，结果这些电容到了一段时间就发热膨胀，成堆的爆裂
结果电源电路开启时自检数据不对，就自动关机了
你这年代的imac nvidia card也是狗屎，apple还不肯给换
说到底logic board就是废了，可以拆了卖零件什么的

一直到最近，擦了多年未擦的屏幕，忽然发现在右边从上到下有一条不规则形状的水渍
一样的痕迹，开始以为是屏幕上面的浮灰没有弄干净，后来才确认是屏幕里面的东西。
联想起网上到处都是的imac进灰的传闻，我很担心。
还好之前在ebay上面买了两年的extended applecare,不然就彻底悲剧了。
去apple store的时候问了genius，他们说要我把机器带到店里去。光taxi就要几十块
了，想想还是不爽。
还好之前有在apple store工作过的朋友告诉我说imac可以有上门服务的。
于是打澳洲客服热线。
他们还是坚持要我把机器搬去店里。我在电话里面纠结了几十分钟，还send了用手机拍
的照片，终于同意派local的authrized reseller店里的engineer 上门。
后来又忙着出差，一直也没有等到engineer的电话。
出差半个月回来，voice mail里面有engineer的留言，打回去，竟然跟我说，因为我14
天没有回复，case closed!

我的27寸iMac是四核i7CPU，32GB内存，1TB fusion drive， 我的
15寸MBP是四核i7 CPU，8GB内存，256GB flash 存储。它俩跑
Matlab计算大量FFT时，耗时差不多。
这个也可以从Benchmark结果看出来。

当然，如果是两核MBP或者MBA跟四核iMac比，运行并行程序时，差距

如果买4-5台 imac pro的钱，有更好的选择吗？买一台好的server或者多台不是mac的
server
主要是自己的组做genomics的计算，考虑拿出一半的机器也让系里其他人submit job
我上学时候导师就是买了好几台mac pro做server，和系里的主服务器的存储系统是连
起来的。
系里的服务器不行，我想申请一些计算设备的经费，看看怎么买。现在还不知道具体多
少钱，不过再怎么也应该有几万吧 |
