门的optical imaging方向，好像一般公司做这个的很少，我做的也都是数学算法方面
的东西，编程只用matlab，对于生物和实验基本一窍不通。感觉自己不适合做学术，但
是又不知道能做什么。
请问大家这样的情况适合什么工作呢？想想自己的phd基本上就是学数学了，或者可以
趁现在没有毕业，学点其他近领域的东西好找工作？感觉好迷茫啊，有什么牛人可以指
点一下吗？万分感激！ |

发帖数: 43 | 10 电面，碰到传说中的“国人大哥”，上来考了rotate array (leetcode 原题)，很快搞
定。接着说要出一个2D array rotation问题，当时还庆幸又是原题（rotate image）
，大哥不错啊，知道放水。
接着听就不对劲了。不是90度旋转，而是要把每一个element都顺时针移动 k steps。
比如n = 5, k = 3,

element取出来放到一个Array里，rotate完了，再放回去，但大哥说复杂度太高。再想
，，，
那就只有用rotate image的思路了，一个个挪，时间O(n*n),空间O(1)。

年轻人挣等于这么多年的经验白干了。现在果断转了data science做machine learning
了，跟互联网有关的产品，感觉方向蛮新，机会比以前多，很多东西跟image都是相通
的，过去没算白干，当然，工资虽然能match, 但职位还得从头干，别想一下子做到
manager级别。

是AP,主要做high resolution imaging system, X-ray CT/SPECT/PET等都有项目在做,
周围还没师兄师姐毕业,所以对就业也不是很了解. GE SIEMENS PHILIPS这三家巨头的
healthcare做得比较领先,别的就一点都不了解了,请问这3家的R&D工作机会和就业形势
怎么样,门槛以及待遇如何?还有除去这3家以外还有没有别的可发掘的,谢谢
PS: 学校工业界reputation还可以(uiuc),不过系里方向比较新,老板人脉也暂时有限,
但很有朝气,也应该能学到不少 |

think about that because it's almost impossible.
There are few other companies doing medical imaging, maybe Partek or 3M or
Kitware is close, but not exactly.
Anyway, if you are doing medical imaging, you are doomed to academia, which
is so sad.
Since you are in the 1st year, it's not too late to switch to something else
, like bioinformatics or statistics. |

1. 我说我的方向是一个narrow field， 因为这个领域里，只有最优秀的人才能找到工
作。如果
你学了这个领域但是学得不太好，那你所学的就全作废了，因为这个领域里没有一个
bad job给那些
学得不太好的人的。这里只有最好的工作留给最优秀的人的。而我不能够有幸进入最优
秀的人群，所
以在找工作过程中感觉就是死路一条。
2. 我现在有绿卡，因为我老公是美国人。但实际上绿卡并不能在找工作上起什么作用
。有很多
image processing的工作都只要citizen, 大约90%以上。 不要求citizen的工作一般都
是什
么人都考虑的，包括没有绿卡的。
3. 我没有很多F2那么幸运，因为我老公不会让我长期当家庭主妇的。他有很高的学历
和很好的事
业，他对事业看得比什么都重，为了事业他可以牺牲一切。他找我的原因之一也是因为
我会拿到phd
然后以后有可能正大钱。目前我只有一个postdoc的offer已经让他有些失望了，因为他
很看不起
postdoc的工作，他希望我能找一个 real job.

本人想学adobe photoshop or image ready软件，6，7年前国内用过。现在已经忘差不多了，故在贵版征 tutor 一位，能帮我快速上手就行。 对美观方面无要求， 需要重点讲解：
1.layer（图层）的理解及用法，
2.文字插入，删除，替换方法
