章很麻烦，耽误了2个多月，材料才得以从学校寄出。个人觉得申请算是比较顺利。把
我当时准备的情况跟大家说一下也许对将要申请的人有一点帮助。
我个人从这里寄出去的材料包括：
1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话
7183212810
2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
5.写了一封信，表示感谢，一张纸，很客气的几句话
从学校寄出的材料：
1.中英文成绩单（学校有，我来之前到学校教务处办好的）
2.学位证书和毕业证书中英文版（来之前自己办好到学校教务处办好的，盖好了章）

etc.) And you are turning it around saying trying to remove imbalance

从 purchase power parity 的角度说：
如果 1 USD 可以买八个鸡蛋，1 RMB 只可以买一个鸡蛋，USD/RMB 就应该是 1:8.
如果因为历史发展的原因 1 USD 可以买八个鸡蛋，1 RMB 也可以买八个鸡蛋，而
USD/RMB 还是 1:8, 这就是 imbalance 了。
不可否认这种 imbalance 可以由于各种原因持续很久很久，但是一旦 balance，
你会看到 1 RMB 只能买两个鸡蛋了（对内贬值），但是 USD/RMB 变成了 1:4
(对外升值）。（just for example)
从 imbalance 到 balance 的过程就是货币对内贬值同时对外升值的过程，这是最

精神分裂我就不是很清楚。)目前的治疗办法主要是两个方面。一个是吃药，直接去影
响这个chemical imbalance。另一个方面，是通过therapy，间接的去影响。所谓
therapy，是学习如何以不同的方法去思考、对待生活中碰到的问题。
接近两个月的上课，正式听课之外，穿插了不少所谓“process group”。像电视里看
到过的，10来个人，加上一个therapist，围成一圈坐。轮流讲出来困扰自己的事情、
自己面临的挑战。病友和therapist有时候会点评。
有一个概念，是给自己建立良好的support system。具体一些，我能够想到的有一点：
远离对自己toxic的人，有时候是距离自己很近的人，比如自己的父亲、或者母亲（对
我而言，我的父亲算一个，呵呵。）
课上反复讲到的一个概念：forgive并不代表给与relationship，只是说明自己let go

去重新做了tire balance，修车的人说确实有imbalance，但还不到0.25 ounce呢。估
计是因为对称四驱，一点点imbalance立马就晃晃悠悠。这不，一校正马上就稳当了。
这subaru原厂胎也确实质量差。虽然不是什么大问题，但就跟一个总在你屏幕前晃悠的

俺在那贴给的解是这样的：
不能扫到串balance的时候就停止当前子串，记住当前位置然后继续扫到
imbalance超过余下的1或0。
这个例子有7个1和11个0，所以第二次扫的时候以1为参照
当11110000时此子串是balance的, 还有3个1余下，记住当前位置，继续往前探测
当11110000 00时imbalance是-2，还有3个1余下，继续
当11110000 00 111时没有1余下了，没必要继续了。
还要从此子串的第一个1按同样方法反向扫描看看此串还能增长否(此串前有0个1)。
最多三遍扫描，O(1) space. |

我还有一些问题想请教：
1）emphysema和chronic bronchitis的病因是不是不一样呢？我感觉emphysema源于
endogenous antiprotease的缺乏,导致elastin被elastase分解,进而导致alveoli的弹
性被破坏；而chronic bronchitis是由于支气管壁发炎，出现mucus所导致咳嗽。不知
道我的理解对不对？
2）都说吸烟是导致COPD的主要原因，因为吸烟可以导致：1> oxidants/antioxidants
imbalance;2>apoptosis;3>chronic inflammation;4>protease/antiprotease
imbalance.请问这四者是相互关联,互为因果的吗?一个chronic bronchitis患者很有可
能患emphysema吗?
我是外行,如果问题很幼稚,请见谅.
