有意思的是，Nat Immuno一般情况下如果reviewer说你的文章不好的话，基本上如果是
没有名气的PI，文章肯定被拒，它家的editor一般不给机会，而且很官僚，有的时候不
讲道理，只是一味的说“reviewers are not convinced about XXXX". 有时候真想骂
人，你说文章的data都已经证明了，你可以不信，但是这不是你reject paper的借口。
否则的话，你可以以这个借口拒所有的manuscript, 因为你可以不信任何的结果，即便
是这个结果被很多人证明过。
Immunity的editor一般都给机会，所以如果你要是不着急发paper, 同时也觉得被scoop
的风险不大，你可以和reviewer耗着，editor把你的文章锯掉以后，你可以不停的要求
resubmission，最后可能也能发。当然也有最后杯具的，但是成功的还是大有人在。所
以如果你去看Immunity那些发文章的lab, 也有相当一部分没什么名气。当然了，这也

我们技术员养的，Protocol我的博后手把手教。早说了他做几次没问题以后，可以以后
让技术员做。
不让他去生物系学学，他连什么是immuno staining 都不知道，甚至cell line 是什么
玩意，cell是怎么长出来的都不知道，怎么指挥个生物技术员给他做事？
我也没骗过他，从他进实验室第一天起就是NIH发的工资，现在说不想做生物太晚了点 |

织，western只有一条带，在40几50处，不知道这是smooth muscle actin呢还是IgG.
因为以前用小鼠抗体研究小鼠组织的其他蛋白时，在50的地方一直都有一条很强的带，
被告之是IgG.另外immuno背景特强，即便是negative control也有较强的背景，估计也
跟IgG有关。请问我应该注意什么？是不是应该用其他host的抗体？ |

' opinion. Actually HPF also causes artifacts and it won't be able to fix
well large samples.
My work is to find out what pathways the protein use to be secreted. One of
tools I am using now is to use immunoEM to localize proteins to sub-cellular
structures. I know the combination of multiple evidence would be important

publication：一作9篇,虽然大部分IF只有2.多和4.多，但也有2篇8分的。而且老板说
虽然Molecular pharmaceutics 和Molecular therapy这样的journal的IF不高，但是在
圈子内是很有影响力的。
老板：tenured professor，不算牛人吧，但也不差，挺productive的。
学校：TOP30的私立
我承认，现在基本都要先做postdoc，可是，我觉得对一个phd来说，我的profile不差
吧？而且我要求不高，只要能去100左右的research school就可以了。

I am not saying you definitely need to take it forever, but many patients do
. You need to chech your TSH regularly, if your TSH falls into normal range

发帖数: 898 | 42 这个我要跳出来说一下，现在成功了的immuno therapy主要分两种
一个是antibody based，原理是癌细胞里的变异蛋白理论上是可以被自身免疫系统识别
为non self然后引起免疫反应杀死这些细胞的。但是由于癌细胞表达一些免疫抑制的蛋
白，导致自身的免疫系统无法识别这些细胞。现在的办法就是用抗体来neutralize这些
细胞表面的免疫抑制蛋白，从而重新激活免疫识别使癌细胞被杀死。在有的病人身上效
果非常好，有的melanoma patients在最初的治疗之后，十几年不需要任何治疗，也再
没有任何症状，对癌症来说，这就算使cure了。
另外一种使cell based，主要是对B细胞leukemia，原理是让自身的T细胞识别并杀死所
有B细胞。这种手段是personalized，在有的人身上效果也很好。
写这些的目的是说要相信科学，不要盲目下结论。当然癌症非常复杂，可能没法找到一
个疗法对所有人都有用，现在的另外一个方向就是如何通过诊断来提前判断病人会对什
么regimen有response |
