我们家弟弟上幼儿园时，有次在家长会和他的老师有过相关的对话。我的关心话题是，

她是一个单亲妈妈，一手拉扯大两个孩子。她儿子19岁那年，自己买了辆车。首付是用
自己打工赚来的，贷款需要妈妈共贷。办好手续，母子俩走出贷款办公室时，儿子对她

因为是单亲，家庭条件不好，妈妈一直努力工作（她真的是一位非常敬业非常好的老师

的钱，浩浩荡荡地拿回家，把孩子们瞬间秒杀。然后哗啦啦，把给山姆大叔的税钱，给
划拉走。然后，一步步告诉孩子，这些钱是房子贷款，这些是饭钱，这些是保险。三下
五除二，一堆钱已经所剩无几。这个画面到现在还在他的脑海里

昨天中午看到她病重的消息。她曾患乳腺癌，复发也不是没可能。所以我想媒体是在小
题大做。明星嘛，那么有钱肯定有最好的治疗和护理。
昨天晚上看到她去世的消息。我不敢相信。她才33岁。对于大多数人来说，这个年纪才
是美好人生的开始。
我真的为她感到惋惜和伤心。还有就是——对于医学的无奈和失望。
我在高考填志愿的时候，清一色的临床医学专业，坚决不服从调剂。毕业后又来美国读
了生物医学/基础医学的博士。这10年下来，对于人的各种疾病，只要稍微google一会
儿，大概就能知道来龙去脉——病灶在哪儿，为什么发病，可以细节到某种分子和细胞。
SO WHAT?!
本科毕业的时候，我脸上长了一些痘痘，试了中药西药都没什么用，因为痘痘不是很明
显所以后来懒得管了。再后来痘痘自己好了。那个时候，我体会最多的不是医学如何发达

他老人家在这里多多少少有点忽略母亲的角色，但是基本上孩子是从父亲那里寻求保护
和权威的。在儿童早期，孩子把外界的影象内化成为自己identity的一部分，称为
imprint。比较傻的小鸡小鸭这时候如果是狗妈妈把它们养大，它们会觉得自己是条狗
。这时候需要好的健康的role model，这个女生家里母强父弱的情况会成为她性格的一
部分。
后来她母亲经常在肉体和精神上abuse她，而父亲不能把她拯救出来，不能做一个保护
者，甚至不能挑战母亲指出母亲行为的差错，这会让她认为自己受到的待遇是应该的，
把对母亲的痛恨、困惑和愤怒压抑住，承认母亲的模式，自己解决所有的问题，显得很
坚强。同时，对父亲的失望甚至鄙视却是不须压抑的，父亲的形象很大程度上决定她对
所有男性的印象。
每个人到了青春期的时候，由于大脑的发展，都会有一个回归自我、建立一个独立
identity的过程。这个时候，如果父母能够给予充分的尊重和自由，孩子会减少很多心

缺乏健康的父母之爱的孩子，并不一定都会认识到这一个事实。她会用很多办法让自己
把当初受到的待遇接受下来,否认、内化、压抑、正常化等等都是常用的办法，让她减
少当初的焦虑和恐惧。即使受到特别明显虐待的孩子，对父母都是非常忠实的，记得以
前有个女孩子在性版上讲过她父亲对她性骚扰的事，她的问题却是--是否天下所有的男
人性欲都会强到连自己的亲人都不放过，这就是正常化的典型例子。否认父母对自己肉
体与情感的虐待，特别是情感虐待，更是普遍。
因为父亲的不作为，导致孩子缺乏安全感。这样的孩子行为上有一个很大的特点，往往
被认为是贪婪、自私和缺乏远见。比如，他们如果见到有可口的东西，常常一次尽量多
吃，尽量少让别人吃。你可以观察这个女孩子，在优雅圆滑的后面是不是有这样的特点。

这么说吧，“爱情”这种东西其实不是人类的专利，从生物学的角度
来讲爱情就是sexual imprinting, 和小鸭子刚孵出来就懂得选择它
见到的第一个会移动的大动物来当妈妈的生理学基础其实差不多。
有感情的动物其实多了去了，很多鸟类都是严格的一夫一妻制，有的
时候配偶死了另外一方甚至会绝食而死。就是同属灵长类，我记得是
长臂猿还是另外一种动物也是远比人类专一的一夫一妻制，这种关系
当然也是靠感情来维持。而且比人类还绝的是，长臂猿是有发情期限
制的，一年顶多只有几天时间做爱，平时男猿都是跟喜欢的女猿在一
起睡觉不做爱的，也没见他们complain :))
但是除了长臂猿一家，我如果没有记错的话其他三百种灵长类都是一夫
多妻制或者混交制。人类是一夫一妻制吗？这个问题其实比较难回答 |

My problem with Chinese books began with this Chinese translation.
Traditionally, or by common sense, I should believe that the translation I
have in hand is the best Chinese translation, since it bears the Commercial
Press imprint, which is the most prestigious press in China.

thanks for the article. I only read the abstract. Correct me if I got it
wrong. The research "suggests" the gene duplication (no additional new
genetic information) is regulated according to the environment. Is gene
duplication a mechanism for expression regulation (like gene imprinting)? If
not, it would be supporting Lamarck's theory of adaption and contradicts
Darwin's theory of evolution. |
