学生不是中国的，我也通过其它渠道知道他收到我的信了。今天带着点情绪写了此信，

情况比较复杂，大致如下：

房子的租期是今年6月1日到8月1日，短租的暑假，租金750每月，security deposit同
样的数目。与其他两名室友合租。
8月1日查房的时候房东发现她的granite counter top有一块变色了，很不高兴，想把
整块counter top换了，说要扣留我们的security deposit，会找公司报价之后再联系
我们。她说肯定是我们把烫的锅子直接放在台子上造成的。我们一直不承认。因为那一
块地方是放的调料，从来没有放过锅子。而且granite就是因为抗高温的特点，才卖的
比较贵的。
她说换变色的部分counter top不会太多，也就几百块。
我们当时就觉得，几百块对她来说不多，对我们来说太多了，就据理力争。
首先，变色的原因不明，如果是因为烫坏了，那就根本不是我们，如果是其他原因，倒

会成功，但光美国市场就很大，在其他部分国家已经成功。
与其一厢情愿，不如做一点研究。Uber的policy很清楚，保险公司的政策一直在改变，
但会保证法律规定的最低保额，不会有gap。今天是10万，如果法律规定涨到25万，就
跟到25万呗。你要是quote过保险就知道差价并不大。
我说得很明白，保险公司其实很赚钱，如果policy太差了，Uber那么多司机，自己做个
保险公司都够了。

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I went to the local police department yesterday and made a record for this
incident. The policeman is very nice and told me I can call 911 next time
when the attack is happening. As for this incident the policemen will
contact owner to make a record. The policeman will also issue a report to
the animal control department and they will follow up. I will check with the
animal control department later this week.

上大学新生入学体检的时候第一次检查出来，众目睽睽下几个肝感觉阳性的同学给点名

中国年轻父母追捧的雅培奶粉竟然完全不符合国际标准，也未达到中国国家标准。昨天
，第三方机构香港CERResearch公司发布报告称，其送检了从中国市场购买的六个品牌
的婴幼儿配方奶粉，检测结果均不合格，雅培样品是最差的。

CERResearch从事中国市场的调查和研究，公司 CEO Graham Earnshaw(晏格文)昨
天接受记者采访时称，公司日前从上海和香港购买了六个品牌的婴幼儿配方奶粉，邮寄
到德国一个世界一流的专业检测食品安全的实验室进行成分检测和分析。
“目前，这些样品的检测数据都出来了，我们将这些数据提供给专家，由他们做出
判断”，晏格文表示，目前专家的态度是，检测的6个样品中，没有一个符合中国国家
标准。其中，雅培的样品被检测出是送检样品中最差的一个，完全不符合国际标准，也
未达中国新国标。
