Anyways, my guess is that most people on the loop were inclined, but 1
person was not inclined, and that 1 person's voice carries much weight. It
doesn't have to be the bar-raiser, you'd be amazed at how a room full of '

没车的话，坐Duquesne Incline或monogehela incline上山。
匹兹堡大学的Cathedral of Learning是全美最高的教学楼，可以坐电梯到36楼俯视；
一楼和三楼的Nationality room非常有名，有个国家特色的教室，值得一看。
有时间的话还可以去卡莱基梅隆大学校园逛逛，那个走向未来的杆子很有意思。 |

还有Ruby Falls, Rock City, Inclined Railway
这三个在一起， 可以一起买票， 但是觉得Inclined Railway很没劲，
可以不用去。
水族馆我们还没去过， 但是上面几个地方一天就逛完了。

dinner: again, 越南面，double meat, no noddle
锻炼：
从家走到学校，6000steps来回
下午5：30去了gym，20分钟没有扶手的椭圆机-见图1（看了有inclination 和
resistance的设置，将inclination调到最高，看到别人的板平平的，嗯。很有成就感
）。消耗240k.然后想想，还是练一练小带建议的有扶手的椭圆机吧-见图2。哎，惭愧
，踩了5分钟，就很难了，好不容易坚持到10分钟，力竭，跳了下来。sigh。转战自行
车，踩了20分钟，level 1,坚持将RPM控制在100以上，最后20秒时，猛踩了一通 |

have a feeling for in running), not
degree. Incline N on the treadmill corresponds to N% grade. Namely, the
angle is ArcTan[N/100]*180/Pi. A
good treadmill can typically reach 15 percent degree max, which is about 8.5
degree.
So in fact, I can say that most people on this board are not capable of
sustaining running on a 10 degree hill
for more than a couple minutes.:)
