My lesson is -- find good coaching, or if DIY, make make sure oneself
understand the swing and what are the possible injuries and how to avoid
them.
Understand the swing may take 1 or 2 month, I guess. Before that, if try to
play, swing very easy… don't try to hit long… watch divots.
My expericne of learning golf is brutal trial and error, at cost of some
injuries.

整个defensive line的starters全都out了，甚至是第一替补也都out了，现在只能现找
Tight End的替补和Walkon来打defense，我的信心都没了（Injuries were so
extensive that the Oregon defensive line featured a DE at nose guard, a
converted tight end at one d-end and a walk-on at the other position.）
safety 主力和第一替补都已经out for season了。QB 和 RB虽然不是seasong ending
injury，估计下面也会保守很多。
但凡这些人里只有一半儿伤病，我鸭都应该是自己史上和今年全国最强的，现在可好，
能不能胜下面三场都很难说。 |

injury for runners. I'm still in denial, trying to run through it by
adjusting to lower mileage.
Not exactly sure how it happened, I'm thinking maybe it's an accumulative
effect. Barefoot running advocates here would definitely disagree with
me, I think the injury may be due my preference for lightweight running
shoes. They are known to provide less support.

some benefit -that I can speed up a bit without worrying about injury.
Early this year, I battled runner's knee for about 3 months. Just when
that was getting better, I injured my right foot in a HM race by wearing
the wrong type of shoes that I could even walked on afterward. That injury
lasts for another couple of months, during which time I had to ware hard

for him -- helps temporarily, but
then the injury gets worse later. I believe our NYC runners are currently
replying on Chinese medicine
(acupuncture etc.) for running injuries. |

suggests the skating rink did something wrong. The accident happened in its
facility, but this in itself does not make the skating rink liable. Skating
is an inherenlty risky sport. Your injury seems to be one that is
forseeable. The skating rink has a good assumption of risk defense.
What about the guy who caused your injury? Was he/she drunk? Doing something

本人2008年9月6号不小心骑自行车在一个parking lot和一个bmw碰了，后来去了医院检
查，没发现啥大碍，事后找了个中国律师所来搞我的injury claim的事情，那个律师就
让我去做了几次physical therapy之类的，后来的事情我也不清楚，只是后来律师告诉
我说和对方保险公司商量的结果就是说对方保险公司坚持认为我要承担70%（还是50%忘
了）的责任把，所以最终只能赔挺少的一点钱，我也不知道具体多少钱，反正我怕麻烦
而且平时自己的事情太忙，又觉得估计没多少钱，但总该能大概cover我的medical
bill就行了把，所以就后来也没去管了，不过律师也没再联系提醒我（他们觉得钱太少
，没啥赚头，后来态度都变得不好了很多），渐渐我也忘了这事情，结果今天收到对方
保险公司的信2封，1封是说我的律师给他们发信说不再代表我for 我的 cliam。 另1封
是提醒我说我的body injury claim有2年的时间限制，到今年9月3号以前我都可以file

车险里面有“medical payment”这一项， 那么可以用这个来赔付自己和车上家庭成员
的附上医药费。 但问题是这个medical payment一般都非常有限， 只有几千块到一两
万的额度。而且有好多人都不买这个， 原因是比较贵，额度小。 一般都用自己的医疗
保险来保自己责任的医疗费。 |

Underinsured Motorist $250k/$500k
二手车如果只值几千可以不保自己的车。要保自己的车也选择high deductible，比如
Comprehensive(COMP) $1000 deductible
Collision(COLL) $1000 deductible
原因是claim多了保费会大涨，保险主要是防止大事故巨额赔偿，小事故自己出钱。
如果有房子和较大一笔家庭财产，可以加上：
1 million umbrella insurance or higher |
