it is not unusual that employer keeps the i-797, eg my current employer. but
you should be able to get a photocopy anyway.
just tell them that if you are stopped by border officer, you need at least
a photocopy of i-797 to prove that you are in legal status.

Load them into a new table w/ an extra incremental unique row Id.
Then run a query like this:
select * from newTable where inputId = id order by rowId |
