价格都是用了各种coupon等之类的不能再低了的 都有2年contract
刚刚已经买了一个HTC inspire 4G了还没邮寄到 否则肯定还跳free的
不过性能来讲看起来似乎inspire还是比atrix强一点点的 不过没用过 不好说
不过似乎都比iphone强 但是外观我觉得还是iphone好啊 不过为了省钱 99块还要拿个
refurbished还是有点不爽啊不爽
不过也不好说 都没拿到手 没准拿到手发现iphone最土呢？
以前用过两年iphone3G 不知道iphone4 提高很多么？

Background
材料/化学/电子方向，国内博士，博后2.5年，现美国20-30名大学博后。
40篇文章，一作10篇，全部英文，IF从2-40左右。一作IF>10的大概6篇左右，合作论文
中有2篇Nature子刊。论文大部分发表在Top 0.1-Top 1%的期刊上(based on total
citations)。在PL中99%的地方在讲第一作者的工作。我觉得讲合作的论文也是可以的
，但懒得去挖掘合作论文中的亮点了。好在第一作者的论文也有很多亮点。
引用：大概2000次左右。合作的论文中有几篇hot topic的文章，单篇引用好几个都在
300+。自己一作文章被引大概300次左右，有一篇100+。一作文章中有一篇被大牛写了
专门的2页highlight评价为“重大进展、重要突破、奇迹、这个领域革命性的成果。。
。”。
审稿：10几个杂志，110篇左右。杂志IF从很低到15不等，有不少杂志排名在Top 0.3%,

发帖数: 4509 | 9 这么个狂风大作的大选夜里，可怜的kerwin同学被困在vegas的豪华酒店里无网可上（
因老板不愿付上网费），所以这次还是我来吆喝。
定在周六（11/8）上午9:30在去 Echo Mountain 的trailhead 集合，10:00准时出发。
这次的路线是经过Echo Mountain 上 Inspiration Point，和置顶之一的爬山路线相同
。但是我们要晚些集合，并计划7个小时走完。全程来回共10.4mi，爬升2740ft，
仍然是strenuous级别的难度，和前两周走的路线难度属于一个量级。但是这条道的好
处是，嫌难度太高的人可以把途中的 Echo Mountain 作为目标，那里有个旅馆的废墟
是很好的休息场所，这样距离和爬升都减少一半（5mi/1400ft），体力消耗则小于一半
。当然还是希望去的人都能走完，Inspiration Point上面的风景要好得多。

发帖数: 10612 | 20 LD指示要iPhone。各种原因喜欢GSM的手机，所以在这两个公司选。最正规的渠道就是直
接到ATT网站搞。因为打算省钱，所以去ebay搞了一个ATT的新iphone，然后在Amazon W
ireless开了一个family plan，拿个了一个HTC Inspire （$20） 和 HTC Freestyle (
free)。打算Inspire给老妈，Freestyle ebay了。已经下了单了，结果很意外地发现Am
azon要求必须使用it的手机180天，否则罚款350+200。靠，不地道。和Amazon一贯
做法很不一致。这么重要的信息放在隐蔽的agreement里面，不注意根本发现不了。
转战Tmobile。这个更讨厌，ATT的臭规矩Tmo一样有。而且Amazon里面Tmo upgrade的价
钱，条款很差劲。除非不要free phone直接上iphone。但是这样等于放弃了手机公司的
补贴。对于我这个整天搞optimization的人来说是无法接受的。最终发现的trick是去w

zilva所述板上交易的评价无关，而是关系到版务的公正，透明，和广大版友说话的权
利。这种风气绝对不能涨。幸得前版主busby即时喝止，小金猪才把帖子改了回去。
万万没想到小金猪今天故伎重演，擅用板斧权利在Inspiration的帖子里私自添加了一
些内容。此事遭到Inspiration的即可爆光。我感觉不吐不快。难道我们的帖子可以任
意篡改？？？难道我们屁民连说话的权利都要被剥夺吗！
在小金猪眼里，别人的帖子都是可以随便改的。他还有什么不能做，不敢做！他昨天改

发帖数: 541 | 24 楼上说的很对，因Las Vegas的度假村 是Timeshare交换的一周的假期(我爸妈是RCI 的
会员)所以实际上6月26号--7月3号我们都可在Vegas住（2个卧室的套房），不用另外花
钱（我爸的会员交换费已出）。但是我老公请不了多少假，7月号必须回来。所以我们
在Las Vegas的度假村只住5天。
PS: 有谁7月1号--7月3号这两晚在Vegas需要房间可以站内信件我（The Grandview at
Las Vegas),这是一个4星半的resort (完整厨房+ 2个卧室的套房，4张床可住8人)

一早上飞机从Nashville 飞 Billings, MT在denver中转。下午抵达后到national取车
，原本在priceline上bid到6天300刀的standard suv，到了那里要求给换成mid-size
suv或者crossover，最后选了2010的nissan rogue。那个车很好开，还省油，很新才开
了1300迈，相当满意。还车时发现MPG高达28。租车时同时购买了loss damage waiver
的保险。之后check-in旅馆，去walmart买食物，水以及生活用品，再去rimrock mall
逛了一下，montana买衣服居然没有税，兴高采烈。晚饭在jade palace Chinese
cuisine吃的，店大而整洁，菜做得比较清单，少油少盐，味道一般，吃饭也没税。

望自己能写下来有个记忆，但是由于总是觉得文笔太差，加上懒，竟然无一写下来。后
来随着时光流逝，很多鲜活的记忆竟然也逐渐模糊起来了。所以这次还是逼自己无论如
何写点东西留给自己－－其实完全是流水帐，文笔实在太差。后来好几个朋友问到，如
果我们的旅程能对后来者有点借鉴作用，也算是第二个作用了。
第一天 (12月22日)出发
东部时间5点多的飞机,预定到LV是当地时间下午9:40,但是由于飞机晚点,加上租车公司
是FOX,要倒2次Shuttle才到,比较折腾,所以到了旅馆check in已经是西部时间12点多,
东部时间3点多了,非常困。下次要飞到LV 或CA还是尽量早点出发早点到达。
租FOX的车是因为他家比较便宜，之前又不知道他的地点这么偏。取车时咨询upgrade,
结果他有一辆4驱的吉普 (Wrangler)，想想要开山路，而且不知道是否有雪，还是加了
些钱从compact升级到4驱。8天税后才190刀，不过非常耗油。

在很爽，就有些收不住了，文采被语文老师骂了12年了，凑合看吧。
我们同行6人都是刚到美国第二年，第一次自己安排路线出游，怕出问题或遗漏什么经
典，就查了很多攻略，提前拟定好了行程。一趟下来玩得非常爽，黄石大提顿景色很壮
观有特点，天气也非常给力，可以说没有任何遗憾了。

准备物品：
衣服就不说了，但那边海拔2km左右，记得以前学的是1km减8度，带件厚的准没错。
帽子一定要，遮阳的，某些22们带镂空的帽子结果一直掉头皮。
一次性雨衣或冲锋衣。我们运气很好，都是大晴天或多云。
手套如果你准备爬山就带一个薄的，太阳镜必须的，要不然亮瞎你的双眼。
望远镜，看动物必备！必须的！要不然别人看着熊，你就干瞪眼儿。
防蚊液准备一瓶没错，湖边很多虫子。防晒更不用说了，那边海拔高。

这是一部根据真实故事改编的电影，讲述美国政府因为一个记者的报道，被动地卷入一
场营救被困阿拉斯加的三只灰鲸的故事。片子在IMDB的评价不高，只有5.7分，但是却
深深打动我。
三只鲸鱼因为气候剧变，没能在水面冰封前迁徙南下，因为它们需要跃出水面呼吸空气
，所以几乎注定要困死阿拉斯加。它们最后的生存空间就是那块还未冰封的水面。这时
一个记者报道了这件事，引起绿色和平组织关注。进而引发高收视率。救助鲸鱼，演成
成了一出政治戏。
Drew Barrymore（扮绿色和平组织成员）向阿拉斯加州长求助，要求出动国民卫队为鲸
鱼破冰。州长干脆地拒绝了她：为什么？为了几条鲸鱼，我们就应该冒损失军人生命的
风险？如果出事，他们的家人该怎样来接受这个事实？

that make it right for her to do what she did? World War II inspired a lot
of great literature and movies but does it make Hitler less of an evil?
In fact, Virginia Woolf didn't mention Vita in her inspired-me thank list
which made Vita's son pretty upset like he couldn't figure out why.
