是不是很支持？他和他老婆现在是开夫妻店吗？另外，若是ERC Advanced Grant雇的

他老婆叫Laurence Zitvogel，也在Institut Gustave Roussy（http://www.gustaveroussy.fr/index.php?p_id=761），做DC和NK的。Guido原来做线粒体、凋亡，后来做自噬，他们现在好像在一起狂搞肿瘤免疫什么。
我博后以后，如果文章够的话还是想回国，不够的话可能还要再做一轮。感觉Guido综
述很好很多，但好的article不太多。
我主要的担心还是工作效率的问题，感觉法国老放假（他实验室的秘书又放假了），已
经耽误我很多时间，而且还将耽误我的时间。我希望的boss是经费充足，实验室运行效
率高，而且不要管我，能够放手让我自己围绕某些方向或实验室以前的方向干，让我拿
到data再去找他讨论。 |

休假这个你要来欧洲要适应，欧洲8月份是雷打不动的休假时间，所有seminar几乎8月
都没有了，我们实验室8月份组会也是没有的，当然法国法定假期之多在欧洲也算前列
的。辅助中心的人也经常休假，你必须提前盯着他们，否则很麻烦。
不过这边老板很多确实不怎么push，你不找他他不离你这种类型的不少，特别push的一
般都是北美变态实验室postdoc出来的或者中东后裔的。
据我所知，法国绝大多数研究所国际化非常差，90％的seminar speaker是法国人，英
文大多很一般（甚至有个别所没有英语seminar)，95％以上员工（含postdoc）是法国
人或者说法语的，你不会法语比较麻烦，研究所里的通知公告你都看不懂的，另外想象
一个实验室就你一个不会说法语，交流氛围可想而知。你那个所几乎没有中国人／非法
语的吧？
法国真正能算上比较国际化的所也就是Curie institute@paris 和IGbmc@strasbourg，
巴斯德很勉强也算吧。
当然你要是觉得自己够牛够独立无所谓，不过这样的话相比下为什么不试试条件资源更
好，国际化程度更高的地方呢？

算top的institute，HHMI的比例很高，有几个超牛。Portland地方也不错，生活成本低
，气候好，Vollum又在山上，环境也不错。科研环境相对比较宽松，对新PI的压力相对
较小。近期有人拒掉columbia去vollum的。
待遇就是因人而异，跟一般非top10的州立差不多，不过vollum的PI们title是
assistant scientist或senior scientist，相当于AP和P，什么时候有相当于AP的
research scientist的title？ |

的好，因为不用教课。在我老板眼里，做科研反正需要申请经费，而自己的工资对于整
个实验室的运营成本来说只是一小部分，所以教科上花的时间不如用来申请经费。估计
是他established了所以才有这种想法吧。 |

biology就在隔壁。
感觉就是两栋楼的样子。在城市中心。周围感觉挺好的。
如其他人说的，这是个适合改行做计算的地方，距离Amazon campus非常近
至于学术，我就不了解了。

.环境非常好.是个做学问的好地方. 教授工资和国外是差不多一致的.
