Job Description for Master Level Polymer Scientist:
Primary responsibilities is in polymer syntheses and developing analytical
techniques and interpret data using equipment such as NMR, GPC, TGA, DSC,

testing的仪器。我的本科读的是机械工程，博士读的是生物医疗工程。博士期间主要
做biomechanics,orthopaedics,ultrasoung imaging方面的研究。能熟练操作主流
mechanical testing system(Bose,Instron,MTS),会统计，会编程(Matlab)，还会nano
indentation(Hysitron)。希望版上有人能够内推在双城附近的医疗器械公司里关于R&
D，testing engineer和biomechanics engineer方面的职位。

2)E=Stress/strain, you must measure strain rather than displacement.
3)I have no idea about the transient modulus at 100% or 200%. Sorry.

因为经费、实验室空间有限，想买个台式单柱的。
所测样品一般为薄膜，1mm厚度以下，拉伸长度，从几百到2000%。
但有时也有厚度/直径在3～10mm的橡胶样品。
由于是第一次选购该类仪器，没啥子经验。
大概在网上查了一下，有以下几款：
岛津EZ-L；
Testometric AT M250；
Mecmesin MultiTester 1-i；
Instron Model3342；
LLOYD LRPlus；
Tinius Olsen Benchtop Testers Model H1K-S UTM；
不知有无朋友用过以上的仪器，相关的性能和性价比如何？大概多少价钱？
另外，查到有Chatillon的拉力仪，似乎要比万能材料测试机要便宜。就是不知道对于
小应力大形变的橡胶薄膜样的精度怎样？
希望有过来人说说，传授经验，在此先行谢过了。 |

几十块钱的bottle jack就能够顶5T，可你读不出来数
标定的都是用Instron或者
自己用hyd pump, pressure valve, load cell 建一个出来，太麻烦。 |

ME Ph.D 但实际上做的是materials，主要经验如下：
1. 我们自己搭建了一个PVD/CVD hybrid system, 一般用reactive sputtering
Nitride coatings, TiN, CrN, Si3N4, 也镀纯金属，还有AlSi 等都可以。熟悉各种真
空泵和RGA，我们的系统两级真空，base pressure 可以到-10数量级Torr，我们有额外
的两个Plasma generator 可以提高Plasma density 而不只是在gun附近区域。
2. 熟悉SEM/FIB/EBSD/EDS, TEM/EDAX, XPS, Nanoindentation, AFM, Instron/MTS
universal machines, metallography specimen preparation 等设备的维护和操作。
3. Micro/nanomechanics: 研究了不同金属单晶nano indentation "size effect"的一

scientist, background with liposome will be a huge plus.
Also looking for research associate (I, II or senior), BS/MS in
pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology or related area. Pharm. industry
experience is a plus. Knowledge and exp with GLP/GMP regulations.
Experience with commonly used analytical techniques. Exp with material
testing (Instron, Zwick or similar), particle sizing is strongly preferred.
