filing 还没有开始。想法是在文章正式被接受的时候或之前把 provisional filing
定了。问题是这种情况下 conflict of interest 应该怎么写？学校的政策是只要是
unlicensed patent，是可以不用汇报的。

The side of the story I heard is that the GFP cloned by Prasher did not emit
fluorescence as it should have. Martin Chalfie did a PCR cloning based on
his construct and fixed that problem. I think it is fair that Prasher still
gets quite a bit money for selling the patent. However, he is not creative
at all when luck strikes, not simply personality problem. He is blind about
the big picture.

不知道你们领域有没有那种teaching journal，或者大的research journal里有
teaching session的
如果有的话，可以看看那里的文章，然后往上面贴一贴。
我知道有些teaching school的人号称自己做research但都是publish在teaching
journal上面的，全是一些experiments of teaching, data analysis for teaching
methods之类的。

我正在申请faculty position，之前准备的research statement是4页 大概2页的
experience和research highlight 还有1页多的future plan
结果今天网申的时候突然发现有个学校的要求是“Statement of Research Interests
(1 page maximum)”。 理论上删删减减凑成一页也勉强可以，但是space肯定会很紧张
了。。
想请问大家是否遇到过这类情况？ 理论上在这个精简版的statement里面我是不是连

发帖数: 1407 | 18 这个不算啊。但是兼职代课是需要报批的，跟这个不是同一个表格。正常情况之下，只
要不耽误上班，在外校代课都会被批准的，甚至稍微调整一下工作时间都是可以商量的。
conflict of interest form是你是否有亲属在学校上班，你主持的采购是否有熟人（
包括教会，邻居，同学）在参加招标，这类事情。
碰到这类问题，最好去问你的主管领导，他们最清楚，而且是政策的执行人。其他人只
能给出建议。

填COI这个表，并不意味着就有conflict of interest. 但凡你满足填的标准比如自己
或者配偶多少钱的限额，就要填，来“报备一下”而已。至于是不是真有，学校会以此
判断（你不填，他如何判断？）。即使认为有，也可能准许你干，但是会成立一个COI
committee来监督你，制订一套方案，保证你不犯错误而已。 |

就我个人经验而言首先不能说也不应该做“职业股民”，因为“股民”两个字实在是太
贱，简直就是失败的代名词。
中国A股从整体上说是什么玩意，大家心知肚明。所以，不如改称为“职业投资者”。
投资作为职业是无可厚非的。这是第一步。
第二说说职业投资。投资这个行当，不管是不是科班出身，在这个市场上，任何人都是
从初哥开始的，区别不同的是有些人是一边上班一边玩玩投资，这里面 90％的人，多
少年了都还在投资门外晃悠，因为对于投资一行，他们没有投入进去，纯粹的得过且过
