沉降算是"地基问题". 但25 FEET的距离落差>=3/4 INCH时,很多人都可以感觉的"不平"
,有时人们就用这个标准判断是否是"地基问题".
一般沉降很严重, CRAWL SPACE的地基很容易出现CRACK (地基是围房子建一圈), SLAB
不容易有CRACK (地基是水泥浇铸的一块板). 平地的沉降,规则地靠一个方向沉降比较
容易修(把下降的一侧顶起来). 坡地的沉降,不规则的沉降比较麻烦,费用高.
地基沉降不一定必须修. 有的老房子沉降稳定了(不继续沉降了),你把沉降的一侧顶起
来不一定好. 因为沉降的过程慢,房子木头框架的接口因为沉降慢慢地挤压在一起.顶起
来的时候可能把接口破坏,对房子的稳定性不一定好.
大多数的沉降是WATER INTRUDE的导致的.如果没有WATER INTRUDE导致的水土流失以及
粘土的因为吸水/干燥导致的膨胀/收缩,沉降一般很快就稳定下来.所以改善排水是防止
沉降恶化的重要手段,如FRENCH DRAIN等等. |

ccm和bauer有很便宜的hockey skates。ccm intruder是我第一双冰鞋，
现在这产品还有的卖，价钱$40左右，打折时能卖到$35。canadiantire
的网站上就有。bauer supreme要比intruder档次高一点，价钱也不贵，大
概$55，也能从canadiantire的网站上查到。最不推荐的是那种样子象旅游
鞋底下安了一个冰刀的那种冰鞋。根本不知道设计意图是什么，样子极其

历史上最惨烈的校园屠杀不是VT，也不发生在上周，而在1927年，学校Board

各版好多呼吁禁枪的，大体总结了几类：
第一类，热爱生命，富有同情心，但感情用事了，没看清大局。是的，枪支造出来是有
杀伤力的，谁的武器杀伤力最大？美国政府！过去10年的时间，至少有数千计的美国士
兵被杀或者自杀了（他们也曾经都是孩子啊，我们的后代或许有天也参军），更别提被
美国政府的导弹，炮弹，机枪杀死伤害的数万计的伊拉克，阿富汗，利比亚人。。你热
爱生命，那么多人被杀死了，你的同情心呢？是的，那些人太远了，与我无关。现在，

内搞国防，能立刻少死成千上万的人，数百亿美元的费用也省下了。比现在呼吁禁枪效
果好上万万倍！
第二类，同情心很强，逻辑有点混乱。说很多孩子的家长，VT的受害者家里都有枪，但
也没有拯救了他们。家里有枪，学校无枪，是无枪区—--结论是枪支没用？这就好像说

基本你提出下面几个假设， 如果都在确定自己生命没受到
威吓的情况下， 都是想你说的那样， 特别电影院的那个。
如果你都认为应该拔枪的话， 我只可以说， 我很高兴你
不是 gun owner, for other people's sake and ur own.
再仔细说说吧， 当被劫的时候， 拿不拿刀都好， 因为
你不知道对方有多危险， 所以拔枪是应该的，（没被枪指的情况下），
但你都说 somehow 你就知道对方就是想要钱， 那当然不能拔枪。
电影院或学校， 如果那个枪手都不再开枪， 在离开途中，
你的生命肯定没被威吓， 你凭什么去play god呢？ 如果你的
州没死刑， 或 after trial 那个枪手是 mental 出问题，
或什么原因， by law 他不应该死呢？ 就算你在途中见人
开枪， 或许在拍电影呢？ 或玩 practical joke 呢？
开不开枪只有一条condition， 变来变去都是那条，
你可以转来转去转到那条上面， 但最后还是看符合那 condition 不。
