在《巴勒斯坦的由来》一文中谈到了“巴勒斯坦”这个地名的由来：古代罗马人征服了
犹太人家园之后把以色列地改名叫“巴勒斯坦”。这个地名来源于希伯来语，经由希腊
语和拉丁语进入英语，然后从英语翻译成汉语。
配图最上面的一行用希伯来字母书写，并且加上了注音符号。
第二行是用英文字母（拉丁字母）表示这个希伯来词的发音。
