Apocalypse Illinois: IOUs Projected to Hit $10.5 Billion, $163 Billion

Illinois is in serious fiscal trouble. Unpaid bills will hit about $10.5
billion later this year, counting unpaid lotto winners and state university
bills.
Lotto is a small problem overall, yet symbolic of the mess the state is in.
Because Illinois has no current budget, the state does not pay lotto winners

The gap between the money Washington takes into its coffers to pay its IOUs

according to a USA Today analysis.
Yes, trillions, and trillions. And that breaks down to a staggering $534,000

meaning the Greek Government has no EUROs to pay the parasites, untill more
benefit cuts and promise to reduce budget deficit to 3%. Maybe they can try
paying out IOUs like the Lazy People's Republic of California. Instead of
cutting 50, they can print and give out 5mn or 5bn IOUs per parasite, see
what they can buy with it. Are you willing to have RMB 50, or Greek IOU 5bn(

Bank of America announced late Wednesday that it would redeem in
full the state's IOUs (formally, "registered warrants") from current
BofA customers who want to cash them in. But the bank set a cutoff
date of July 10.
On Thursday, other big banks including Chase, Wells Fargo & Co.
and Union Bank followed BofA's lead, saying they'll cash the IOUs
from customers only through July 10.

I think the Controller's spokesman already said IOUs are not securities ...
If notarization is required, it means you have to collect IOUs with more
physical restraints. Usually, state employees, particularly those living
check by check, won't have big IOU bills. I think they are deep discounted
IOU source. Small business would ask more than what we can offer, right?

Time to conclude.
This thread started with a sympothetic tone. As many others, I gave some ser

There are two metal markets: LME and CRIMEX. LME is a physical market.
CRIMEX is mostly for paper rigging.
The conspiracy theory basically says China plays the paper game @CRIMEX
to short it down and then loads the physical silver at LME. When it's
time to honor the CRIMEX shorts, China offers IOUs from JPMorgue as
payment and tell the buyers to get silver from JPM.

Scrip is a term for any substitute for currency which is legal tender and is
often a form of credit. Scrips were created as company payment of employees
