可能各地情况不一样，我在tx，这边就是这样的，pre-k是公立学校办的4-5岁儿童上的
。enrollment需要满足两个条件，一个是低收入，或者就是非英语国家移民子女。我也
问了当地isd关于program的时间，他们告诉我是7点多到10点多或者12点多到2点多。2
选1。
一般白人家庭都是上daycare 到5岁然后去kindergarden，不eligible那个pre k
program. 现在不知道说清楚没有。现在求教的就是pre k这个program跟普通day care
有没有太大的不同
或者你们说说上pre k的经历，谢谢 |

一般来说，公立小学都是按家庭地址就近入学的。所以你问“dallas附近华人孩子上
preK-5主要在哪个学区？”对你自己来说没有啥帮助的。 |

＂同学们，建议大家看一下刚出的Plano小学年度报告，德州州政府在每个小孩身上平
均花8000，pisd平均水平也是8000，但skags，Mathews，andraws都才5000多，东边的
小学（黑墨很多）都6一7000
Guess what， dallas ISD (基本全黑墨）is over $10K per student, 基本上是我们
补助的2倍了。neighhood越差，政府补助越多.
按某网友说得，啥世道，我们养着他们，他们还要抢咱们孩子上大学的名额，发现我们
就是活雷锋，舍己为人啊.
还有，我们那里讨论了，免费饭菜是联邦拨款，都不算在这里面的。

转学到了同一个ISD另一个小学,结果是转过来的这所学校在开学前几天在校内统一出售
supply，$45，倒挺省事。只是以前定的那套$42就多余了，牌子不一样，两个学校的
List也有差异，只好放家里用。 |

ISD 196 的中小学都不错。
Trick呢，就是找公寓少，自住房比例高的学区。当然这样的区肯定种族比例达不到你

对于那些喜欢住master planned community 的朋友不太适合。适合喜欢清静，和邻居
隔着比较远，有Privacy, 自家管好自家的那种。两个双开门大铁门，大院多树，孩子
们在自家院子里玩。安全小区，10几年没有偷盗抢等犯罪。（因为很多家都有fence，
gate 和大狗）。邻居有律师，石油professional, 和自家开公司的。学区不错，初中
GARCIA 这两年在fort bend ISD 排名和FIRST COLONY 相当，高中AUSTIN，没有
Clements 那么stressful.
