但是还是老实的给了对方自己的LICENSE。对方也拍了照片。也要了租车公司的电话号
码。对方说回给他的保险公司打电话要求ESTIMATION.还让我给他打电话告诉我的
ISSURANCE NUMBER.
问题是我是租的车，自己没有买车，没有ISSURANCE
请问这样的情况，LOSS AND DAMAGE WAIVER 覆盖吗？

So before you sign any paper with the insurance compoany, go to spend money as
much as possible. ANd told the issurance company you are not go ing to accept
their offer, and tell them you are going to find a lawyer for this.

具体描述：年初2月6日被警察拦住说我罚款没交被吊销驾照。我说交了，警察打电话确
认以后说，你交了是交了，但是不知道为啥你的驾照被吊销了，你到时候去法院解释。
关于罚款：2年前刚买新车由于身体原因（back spasm）很少驾车，所以做年检拖了些
时日。被警察发现无inspection sticker被抓。警察说，你填了这张表然后他们让你上
庭说清楚，就完了。也没说交钱事宜。我于是按他说的做。但是上庭的日期，我正好有
一个会议没法去，屡次给法庭打电话未果，最后有一人说，交钱就完了，然后开会回来
收到一张单子之后交了钱。我交钱的时候是寄信的方式，处理或许稍慢，我猜想是否此
原因驾照被吊销。但是从未得知驾照被吊销。
后来又交了一笔reinstatement fee把驾照恢复了，但是晴天霹雳居然遇到这样的事情。
请大家帮忙，谢谢！

用。退掉省心。昨晚做了很多功课，顺便说下感受，免得后面的人再上当：
1. dealer推销的warranty基本都是第三方的，即非厂家的也非dealer公司的。一般真
出了问题，有非常大的扯皮赖账的可能。相比之下厂家的就放心多了。
2. 很多Warranty需要你在出问题的时候提前联系卖方，必须在他们issure a case
number之类的东西后你才能找人修理。明摆着不方便。
3. Warranty 不是Insurance. 在有些州比如Indiana，卖Warranty的公司不受
insurance law的约束。我不懂法律不好评价什么，只是觉得这条既然写在细则了，肯
定有什么花花肠子。
4. 我买的这个Warranty居然不cover其它warranty service承诺cover但由于任何原因
没有cover或者拒绝cover的东西。也就是说如果Honda自带的三年质保里的东西如果出

老师没有因为我research不努力或者做得不好说过我，多数是因为sincerety
issure。这次他也说，如果我跟他说“老师我需要一两个小时的extension”他会给我
的，考虑到我的项目一直在进展临到最后加了很多东西，但是他很失望我居然没跟他打
招呼就胆敢错过deadline。我就说sorry,我的错，我也没argue我没跟他说其实是不敢。
他把sincerety看得很重。不过他也说，每个人都有不同的character。
我的funding是系里给得，包括我两个师兄，所以确实不存在什么利益关系。 |

administration的部门手里。最搞笑的是，刚开始fastlane显示2月某天就received by
DGA（我有截屏为证)，过了一个月左右这个日期突然又变成3月某天，我心想大哥这是
玩我吗？因为status的具体信息中有一句，大概就是PM recommended也不能保证被fund
，只有这个啥grant administration的部门才有权限issue fund，所以我觉得还不保险
，就没跟学校说。可是如果再继续等下去这个grant拿到不拿到已经对我的P&T没有任何
帮助了。
求教版上大牛，到底recommended作数不作数？一般recommended到issurance要多久（
fastlane上说4 wks，现在已经早过了). 这个recommendation received by DGA的日期
发生变化是正常的吗？万一recommend了之后告诉学校了结果没拿到钱，会不会
backfire？

considered a violation of his copyright. in a booklet titled student conduct

Director的话，market价格是5W - 7.5W stock options。
stock options的face value是$0.001，这个是给founders的价格，越早进去，你的
face value就越低，一般是$0.005 -> $0.01这样增长的。valley的startups, 每
authorize一批options给新员工，价格都在往上涨，而且会根据对公司的
contributions给已经工作的员工免费增股。
一般，initial issurance的股票是10M,但是founders和初期员工拿5%，剩下的给VCs和
后来进来的员工。所以，你是初期员工，如果你看好这个公司/行业/founders的话，你
很快会成为billionier的:)..
问题是：你要看准了，valley倒的startups公司很多，就像买房子看location

your attoney can do a title search for you, if it can be viewed as a
