financial aid.
If your family income is over 200k and you don't have 2 children go to
college at the same time, you won't get financial aid.
So debt free is not really true. Some of the students who are not qualified
for FA will have to take on debt. |

to choose whatever major in your junior year, or even later, or in the
extreme case not at all. i don't know about public schools but for the real
ivies and comparables, that's how it works. |

Malia已经参观Ivies中的五所。但是总统说了，不要专注于特别的学校。所以我在这儿
呼吁Malia申请Umpqua Community College。
第一，这个是非常普通的学校，而不是Ivy那么特别的名校，真正响应了总统的号召。
第二，如果保镖门在场，这些人间惨剧就可以避免。名校已经有足够的资源防止这些。
社区大学就不一样了。

If I remember correctly, the average faculty salary of top LACs (Amherst,
Swarthmore, Williams) is higher than that of ivies.
Do underestimate LACs, You may want to have a look of their endowments and
alumni lists.

First of all, she should be from a target school or feeder school like
Shanghai
Foreign Language or Fudan Fuzhong, both of which send 10+ students to Ivy+
or
little ivies or seven sisters each year. If not, seize the chance to excel
in interviews with some liberal arts colleges. ( You can't do much with
bigger
schools) High score in SAT will add to her favor but not a guarantee. Luck
unlocks the last door in many cases, as you can't imagine how many brilliant

than small brokers. if you want mortgage from big banks, wells is the bank
you want. just like some people like ivies. but in my own opinion, you
should pick the loan that has lowest cost (rate and fee together). another
thing is timing to lock the rate matters most. just 2 cents from recent
mortgage app experience. |

income, the student would be qualify for financial aid, it might be cheaper
than many public since Ivys have more generous financial aid. But for
family caught in the middle, it's better to balance between the ranking of

Nebraska, New Hampshire and Washington - have banned racial preferences in
college admissions.
However, the people against the ban are trying to overturn the law in
several states. In CA, the challenge has been defeated several times. But I
am sure it will come back again and again. The MI case which the state ban
is challenged is pending at the Supreme Court.
